I would love to see a non-wing, non-USAC series like this on the West Coast.

Ok, I'll bite. What exctly do you mean? The USAC/CRA sprints are 410 non-wing sprint cars racing at 10 different tracks across CA, and AZ.

I'm guessing that he may have meant a series based out there, for more than one swing.  We, in Wisconsin are pretty lucky.  We have the Wisconsin wingLESS, and up North there is the group, UMSS who races wings and non wings.  That pretty much covers the whole state, top to bottom......

Ok, I re-read the post and I now see that i missed the non-USAC part. My apologies.

I just don’t see that USAC has done much for California sprint car racing since it muscled SCRA out the way nearly 15 years ago. I won’t rehash the past. I’ll just say that I think a non-USAC alternative with a program, schedule and purse structure like MSCS has could be very popular with racers and fans.
