This guy HAS to be loaded, hes about to sponser or own 50% of the Outlaw tour this year. This guy came out of nowhere and now this. Dont get me wrong, i think its great hes doing this for all these teams and drivers but has sprint car racing ever seen anything like this before? Honestly i didnt think Priority AvaItion was that big of company let alone big enough to sponser all these teams

Well, he is either the new age Danny Peace or J.W. Hunt. I guess history will decide.

Could you feed us the background of your post. You can't assume we all read the same news article you did about this yesterday.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Some may have missed the announcement, but Marshall has split with Jason Johnson Racing. JJR is going back to being the sole owner of his racing stable in 2018. Just felt it needed to be pointed out given this thread...

All I saw was he and Jason Johnson are no longer partners and he's sponsoring Jacob next year. That would seem to be at most a swap and likely less than that. Did I miss something else?

Every post I have seen has welcome to the 1S and Shark racing, I have seen nothing that mentions Jacob or the 1A at all. Maybe I'm just reading too deep but that's how I see it.

We all likely have a better chance than Christopher Bell or Keith Kunz.

Add Bruce Coggel Ford and Stenger Ford to the list of sponsors seen on the hoods of many cars back in the day.

Where is the Print Place guy now? His name was Shawn Petersen. He was another guy that got heavily involved in the sport money wise. He was on the ASCS National tour for awhile and was teamed up with Herrera for awhile too. Doesn't seem like I've seen his name in any national or local results. I wonder if his Print Place business still sponsors some cars or if he maybe got out of the sport completely?

More power to Richard. I would do the same thing if I had the financial ability to do so. I think he is in the oil business too. He also sponsors Kenny Wallace’s dirt team.

Are these actual ownership deals or sponsorship labeled as ownership? Why do I ask? Well i didnt look too close but i never saw any indication that marshall or aviation owned the 41. If he is an owner he must sell to Johnson in order to leave. johnson has to find cash or Marshall has to loose cash. If it is a 1 yr sponsorship deal he can walk away with not waves and throw cash at any new team he wants to support.
Im glad he is helping teams pay bills but i never seem to be able to sell anything when i want to. Just seems like a very easy departure which makes me think sponsorship with a title instead of actual shares and stock. Maybe that is beeter at the acciunting office.

saphead's post above mentions car owner or sponsor Danny Peace, think he was 22 years old or something and gave nearly a blank check to Wolf one year. Great great story in Wolf's book about that situation and how flabbergasted Wolf was when approached with the nearly "blank check" offer from Peace. Peace did nothing wrong as I understand it and was guilty of nothing but girlfriend "apparently" had hands in the federal till.

You can't just type "Priority Avation" into google and assume the first link you click on answers every question about a guy.
