Reading Gordon's book and in it towards the end where he's at his last race at Homestead, walking around the infield and a couple young NASCAR drivers asked for his autograph and his first thought was:  "reminded me of early in my career and racing in Bloomington, Indiana and getting Rick Mears and the Kinser's autographs"

Not sure of who the Kinsers would be, Steve Kinser of course and what other Kinser or Kinsers, not sure, probably not Mark at that point in time. Also, not sure if Rick Mears was there racing or just there.  I know that way back then all the Indy 500 drivers really made their living driving sprint cars.
