So, I was not able to go to Eldora this weekend.  However, it appears that Robert Ballou had some choice words for the track about the surface in a post race interview after the USAC Sprint feature.  Unfortunately, although there was a lot of comments on Twitter about the interview, there are no actual quotes posted.

I was wondering, realizing the danger of another Eldora bashing thread getting going, if anyone there could give a summary of what Ballou said.

I don't have a word for word but I did see Robert posted on social media that Tony personally told him Eldora would have a huge curb.... I'm guessing it did not after multiple people have stated the track conditions were less than ideal.

So Robert did say a lot of bad words about the track dusty rubbered up before any main events.

And yes he said Tony told him personally that there would be a cousion to pound on and there wasn't anything like that.I thought the races were good but also felt they could have done a better job with track .With this big of a race and with 4 top divisions they could have used the spinner that runs behind a tracktor inbetween heats ect and it would have saved surface and no extra time.

Now on the other side of USA running 410's mr. Demon had some choice words as well in victory lane about how perris is preping the track for bottom feeders.If you watch that interveiw you will see a very animated driver making fun of track , driving styles , reporters he basicly called out everybody .Saying certin bottom feeders are afraid to let it fly and run the outside... hahaha

Great races I thought and the track was hooked up high and low for most part..

Just low really started working last 10 laps and you will hear Demon say he new thats what was going to happen , and perris wanted it that way because of all the water they kept putting on bottom all day before races.

Got to love the passion of a driver when he gets out of the race car after 30 laps , and Demon won so he was pumped for his team.

he was just  being honest.what   has  happened to that place ? dust  in hot laps.unreal.  with at least 3 water trucks, a well  in the  infield,and  who knows  how  many  tractors and other track working implements        no excuse..period.the  new  amenities are nice  but the racing was so much better years ago. 15 year  old track record,.yes there was  bigger tires bigger wings and  no weight then rule but  with 900 + hp  theres  no way to use the  power.even the kkm girl said she  had  to  peddle  her  car......peddle  a 4cyl at eldora ?.....u got to be  shittin me. ive been goin there for  over 40 yrs will  have to think  long and hard  about  goin  back again.  how  many times  did u see earl  with the grader on the  track after  the race  grading the cushion off the wall?  maybe  some  one  could  use that  gas  it takes  to  blow  fire  balls in the  air   and  put  it  to good  use ....like the  pump on the  water trucks !  even  tho u took the  banking  out  of  the place at  least  give em something to race on .
