Those of us at the Racesaver IMCA Sprint Nationals and Eagle Raceway want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the fans and race teams that travelled from all over this great nation of ours to the 5th Annual Racesaver Nationals this past weekend.

With so many demands on everyone’s time and budget, it’s really gratifying to know that you chose to come to our little piece of dirt track heaven, Eagle Raceway, over the Labor Day holiday.

To the fans; you showed that, no matter what else is going on in the world, people still understand and value the fact that dirt track racing is not only a fabulous way to spend a weekend, but it’s also a great value. Where else but the Racesaver Nationals can you get 3 days of racing, with well over 100 cars, for just $35?

To the drivers; we can’t say thank you often enough, or strongly enough, to let you know how much we appreciate you making the long trek from every corner of the country to put on a fabulous show for one and all to see. You proved that engine size doesn’t matter when it comes to sprint car racing; all that matters is the size of the heart in the racer. The competition at the Racesaver Nationals is second to none, and each and every one of you showed that time and again last weekend. Without all of you, and the great competition that you provide, this would be just another race. But, thanks to you it has become one of the must-see events in the sprint car world. And, thanks to so many of you making the long haul, the Racesaver Nationals is once again the biggest sprint car race in the world!

With that in mind, we want to keep improving everyone’s experience at the Sprint Nationals; for both the fans and the drivers. In order to do that, we would like to ask you to give us any suggestions, tips, or whatever else to ensure that happens. We want to make every year’s Nationals bigger and better than the one before. Please feel free to leave us a note here, send us a message on Facebook, call us on the phone, drop us a letter or use whatever other means you want to give us your thoughts.

Again, thank you so much for making the 2017 Racesaver Nationals the fantastic event that it is, and we hope to see you all back again next year! We also hope that you bring lots of your friends and fellow racers to make the 2018 version even more spectacular!!!

We have attended 2 years in a row and 2 years in a row we have run into this same problem. I thought the first year was just us because we let another group us our shower due to there's messing up. I know of several others that had the same issues this year.......And..... I don't just have a complaint, I have a fix.

When you stay for 5-1/2 days (Wed night through Monday morning) we seem to build up a lot of grey water an black water in the motorhome, even on very strict water conservation. I think most people bring several crew members an right around Saturday evening you start hearing problems with tanks filling up an fresh water tanks going low.

I was at the Lucas oil boat races a couple years ago an sometime during the weekend a sewer truck would come by an I believe he charged something like $10-$15. He would put a pan under the coach, you open your drain, an as it filled he would suck it all out. I'm not completely sure but I might have seen a sewer truck at Eagle this year, but it was on Friday morning. It seemed like he was gone before we knew it.

Now the fresh water problem, I don't know there, but it's a start. And I'm definitely not complaining, the nationals are great, we have a lot of fun, an if it doesn't get fixed no big deal. Just an idea........

I will pass your thought along about the pumper truck. I know that fresh water is available in the pits, and I saw someone string a hose from the side of the concession stand out through the fence to the south to wash their ATV.

We will be setting up a time for the septic person to be there daily at a set time. We are working on the fresh water situation.
