I was at Port Royal for the first time this past Saturday for the WoO late model show and 410 sprints and left very impressed with not only the racing but the way the promoter and staff held in there busted their butts and got the show in after one heck of a storm hit.

Yea, take the back roads & enjoy the scenery!
Clinton County is the site of my first ever sprint car race.... immediately obvious that it was the old county fair horse track (maybe not in fact, but sure looked like it!)

A lot of nice rural/woodland scenery. Clinton County is real close to Lock Haven which is neat college town.

If you enjoy craft beer, hit the Elk Creek Cafe in Millheim on your way from CC to Port, one of the best brew pubs anywhere. Great food too.

Looking forward to having you join the PASS teams this weekend. If your coming in via Rte 80, Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in Clearfield serves up some great burgers. The Red Zone in Mifflintown (near Port) has pretty decent food as well. Feel free to stop by the 67 trailer and introduce yourself!

Note, there has been some construction on 80 near the Lock Haven exit, so if you have a GPS with traffic monitoring, you may need to find a shortcut if the traffic is at a standstill.

Well got home late sunday night from a great time out in pa! First off, I want to say that you guys and gals are absolutely fantastic people!  Everyone was so awesome to talk with and interview! The 305 class out there is absolutely amazing! There was great competition at both tracks and it was a lot of fun to watch you guys.  You have some really nice tracks out there and I can see why you all take such pride in them.  First, Clinton County Motor Speedway; what a great little track with an awesome back drop and a great track crew.  Everyone was so welcoming and great to work with!  Second, Port Royal Speedway; wow oh wow what a great venue! Just a massive half mile with top notch facilities and a great pit area for the haulers.  I was even shocked to see that they had bathroom attendants, i don't think i have ever seen a bathroom attendant at a track before. All in all it was a great two nights of racing with a great group of racers, thanks again to everyone who helped and did interviews!
