Does anybody know who might show tonight other than regulars?  I don't see it on Dobmeiers or McCarls schedule.

I see on Facebook that Brooke Tatnell will be there.

There are a few local 360 guys I think, the Rudeen car has been there in the past and they are in the area, Kaeding? There were a couple of Grand Forks regulars there last year I think. There are a decent number of cars within 5 hours but Tuesday night is tough for a single race.

Looks like Ian Madsen, TK, and Page Polyak will at least be there in addition to the regular Outlaws. Should be a decent show.

The only thing I'm sure of is that I'll be stuck working in downtown St. Paul and won't get home until 5.  By then it's too late to consider driving to St. Cloud but might listen in on Dirtvision.  There aren't many 410s around central Minnesota.  Brooke, Travis, and that's about all.  Any chance Balog might be coming this way?

If I was a betting man I'd say that 360's will have a pretty good chance of making the A Main tonight.  Knoxville and River Cities are both long hauls, only a couple 410's around here and it's a work night.  People chastise me for speculating on the quality of shows, I guess because I used to write for publications, but these days I'm just a casual fan trying to get the most bang for my buck and vacation.  Actually the phone rang after being dead for two years and I got an offer to shoot photos tonight but I already took Friday for Back to the 50's.  St. Cloud area would have required driving to the Cities and paying for parking then taking the afternoon to get there and the whole day tomorrow to recoup from the late night.  Not worth 1 1/2 days of vacation.  I'm not crazy about the late night drives through deer country either.

Dirtvision audio until the eyelids get too heavy for me.  I hope it's a good show and they get a good turnout of fans and cars.  I'm just not willing to bet my money and vacation on it...  wink

It was a beautiful night last night for racing.  The stands were full.  Granite City must have a curfew because the racing was done by 9:50, which was very nice for a WoO show.  I haven't seen that at Cedar Lake.  Jason Johnson had a fast car, but Donny did what he does and was able to get by.  The show was supported by Microsprints and Midwest Modifieds.  I hadn't seen Microsprints before.  They were fun to watch.  We were trying to figure out how many gears they have.  It sounded like at least 3.  Tim Kaeding was there.  No Whitney.  I think there were 23 or 24 sprint cars.

Talked to Sheldon Haudenschild after the race for a minute.  I asked him if he was a little wild, his humble reply was, I try not to be.

I used to photograph the Micros at St. Croix and they were fun to watch and I guess they're running at Princeton now.  My neighbor has his kid in a winged kart and is looking for a Micro so if that happens I'll probably tag along.  I am set to retire in a year and will probably be looking to get back into the racing in some capacity.  Travis' car is out of Jackson so even though he likes ves in the Cities not a big surprise they didn't race on a week night.
