Can't wait till the cars hit the track. Last weeks Mini Gold cup(cut short by rain) was one of the best I've seen this early in the year. The track was great for how much rain we have had this year and it should be better this weekend with temp's in the mid 70's and NO RAIN.

Packing the overnight bag right now.

Track took rubber last week with only 20 cars. Sure Lowell will have it better this weekend!

Beats the hell out of the normal wet and rutted Spring track.

We're just happy that the forecast for the whole weekend is great.  Oh, and also that our SS class is the filler Friday night and we get our season started early this year as opposed to about 5 or 6 rainouts this time last year..  The A Mods are the filler Saturday night.

Here's your night one results, at least what I could get as we ran the SS class.   360 Main- 1) Sean Becker 2) Andy Forsberg 3) Jason Statler 4) Shane Golobic 5) Justyn Cox    360 Semi- 1) Tanner Carrick 2) Cam Smith 3) Tyler Seavy  Non Wing Main- 1) Austin Liggett 2) Terry Schank, Jr. 3) Michael Kofold    SS Main-  1) Corey Hall 2) Kevin Lesch 3) Phillip Shelby 4) Steve Hammett 5) Brent Lawrence (us, my son got spun early & came from last to a disappointing 5th)

Sorry I couldn't get more but we were a little busy all night.  Good racing in all classes.  Becker and Forsberg had a great lead swapping race in the 360s.  Didn't get to watch any of the non wing main.  Street Stocks had a pretty good main with a few guys having first night bugs and parts failures but not us.  We just had guys running into us all night. LOL

Night two should be a good one, just swapping the A Modifieds for the SS class.

Can't believe Andy got canned for not winning that race! Bottom was much better than the top not much Andy could do.

Got it from a very reliable source. Andy was in his own ride on Sat. not the C&M 7c.

Just checked Andy's schedule online.  The car change was on his schedule already.  His 92 at Civil War races, the 7PT at the non-Civil War Friday Chico show, SCCT, Toller, etc.   That would have been interesting news, but best to wait on rumors.

Marysville date cancelled on 18th. I stand by what i said! We'll see if he makes the Petaluma date! If I'm wrong I will certainly admit it.
