Kilgore TX (10/17/16) by DarinShort.com. It's race week at LoneStar Speedway, and what a fun and exciting weekend is on tap, featuring the $3,000 to win and $300 to start LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals, slated for Saturday October 22 (all LoneStar points divisions will be racing that night). Plus, Friday night, October 21st LoneStar will be hosting "BBQ, Brew & a Practice Night Too!"

Simply put, we want everyone to have a fun kick-off to race weekend, by offering Open Practice (for any, and all, dirt racing divisions) from roughly 7-10pm, with the BBQ & Brew component taking place from 10-11pm. Your $15 pit pass (all ages) includes all components. The pit area opens at 6pm on Friday October 21st. The grandstands will have free admission, however all persons must purchase a pit pass to go in the pits any time between 6pm-11pm. There will be soft drinks available for those opting-out of the 'brew'...or for those in attendance under 21 years of age.

We hope you can take in this fun, low-stress night at the track, before things heat way up the following night.

Moving on to race night (Saturday, October 22nd):

It will be a complete LSS points event, with $1,200 going to the high-powered Modified division winner, $500 to win in the Factory Stocks; plus the FWD 4-Cylinders will be racing for added purse money. The Modifieds and Factory Stocks will receive full points, while all LSS registered Limited Modified teams will receive 50 'show up' points for competing in the Limited Modified portion of their $3,000 to win and $300 to start championship event. New drivers will not be required to pay a registration fee in any division.

The LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals feature will be 30 laps in distance, with payback as follows: $3,000 - 1,200 - 800 - 600 - 500 (5th) - 450 - 400 - 380 - 360 - 340 (10th) - 320 - 300...to start (20th).
