Great read Jeremy. I have to be honest, after the Ward incident, I had mixed feelings about Tony. As time has gone on, I have grown to respect how he has handled himself. Watching him at the 2015 and 2016 All Star SW races at Waynesfield, Ohio and seeing how hands-on he is with his series, it is obvious his love of our sport.
I wish him luck in 2017 and look forward to seeing race sprint cars again.
Now if we could only convince Larson, Rico, Kahne, Stenhouse, and Bell to join him back on the dirt!

If they let Andy Durham put injection on stuff like Josh Richards' that has embarrassed everyone this year, it will be all over. Even Tony might be afraid of that though
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Easy.... just pay them NASCAR money!
Pretty clear they all enjoy dirt, but NASCAR pays the bills & funds their dirt teams

I absolutely 100% dont believe this....
BUT, rumor going around Mooresville, an F1 car is being assemblied for him to race USA, Canada, and Mexico next year. Special parts, containments units, etc sneaking out backdoors. Mysterious white trailers showing up at the wind tunnels in the middle of the night...
Its probably a running joke, but a joke that everyone is kinda anxious about.

As you said if you've ever seen Tony at an All Star Race you see how hands on he is, not just with stuff in the trailer but the logistics of the evening from the pits, on the track and during races. And the number of All Star Races he makes is cool as well.
I believe Rico is running more winged stuff this year then ever before...which only leads to fans desire to him wheel a sprint car even more.

What mixed feelings, it was proven he was not guilty, the drivers in front and behind him who had the best view said he did nothing wrong so I'm not sure what issues you could have concerning that particular incedent. Not trying to start shit with you just wondering.

He can't race F1, he doesn't have the proper racing license to do so, It would take him more than a year to obtain such a license. The FIA super license has a fairly in depth proceedure that needs to be followed, and being that NASCAR is not an FIA sanctioned series, as far as the powers the govern F1, they couldn't care less about Tony driving a couple of races. Then you could look at the fitness level, that would be even a bigger issue to sort!

It's ok. I know you're not trying to start a p match, so it's a legit question. I'll take the high road here though. No sense rehashing that mess. I was just being honest. Maybe sometime we can share a Coke at the track and I'll let you why I had mixed feelings - initially anyway. Btw, I'll be at the Grove and Selinsgrove on the 16th and 17th of September, respectfully if anyone else from here is going. Cant wait!

I'd like to see Tony back in a Silver Crown next year. That's a good series for a plus sized old man like him! Just kidding but I would like to see him run those cars again. Johnny Parsons was still the fastest guy out there at 60 plus years old so I think Tony could do it. He should avoid lower level events like the one he got in trouble at. Stick with the bigger outfits like USAC, WoO ect.

I dont think the "lower level" had anything to do with it. It was simply where he could get away too at night and race close to the cup track. I've been to a Sprint Car race he showed up to on one of those weekends. Although nothing like what happened in NY went down, he did have a disagreement with Terry McCarl on track. It was racing and we all moved on rather quickly. That may be the only two, yet it might not. Point is Terry McCarl would be at a lot of WoO etc. races. You cant guess or control what other guys are gonna do, based off a series. I hope he drives whatever the hell e wants, whenever he wants. Dont we all wish for that type of freedom? Glad he is getting it.

I'd like to see a Tony Stewart chasing 200 tour...in memory of BC.
this is highly doubtful...but if anyone had the resources it's him.
