NCRA Late Model 2016 Remaining Dates!
Park City, Kansas – August 8, 2016 - Officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products have announced the remaining dates on the tours crate late model 2016 race schedule and includes seven dates at four different race venues.
The NCRA crate late models will next be in action on Saturday night, August 20, at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas on their fourth appearance of the season at the speedway.
Just one week later it will be off to the famed Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas on Saturday night, August 20, and their only appearance on the season.
Saturday night of Labor Day weekend (September 3) will see the tour make an appearance at 81 Speedway in Park City in a night that will feature the series sprint car, modified and mod-lite divisions – all on the same race card.
The fifth and final 2016 appearance at Thunder Hill Speedway will take place on Saturday night, September 17, before heading back to 81 Speedway (September 24) one week later.
81 Speedway will play host to the “gladiators” on Saturday night, October 8, before a huge season finale set for Salina Speedway in Salina, Kansas on Saturday night, October 22.
Seven events have been completed thus far this season with 2015 co-series champion Chris Kratzer holding a 115-point lead over Lyle Shepard and Delbert Smith. Shepard has set the season on fire this 2016 season with five victories. If he can win at least six of those finale seven events he can tie series late model record holder Kelly Boen with the most late model victories in one season.
