Shepard Three in a Row in NCRA Late Models!
Dodge City, Kansas – June 4, 2016 - Current point leader Lyle Shepard took the lead at the start and never looked back to claim his third straight National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model victory Saturday night at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.
Shepard and Jimmy Segraves started on the front row for the twenty-five lap feature with Shepard taking the lead as the green flag fell and never looked back. Not even the only caution flag of the feature for a Dan Smith stop in turn two on lap fourteen could slow Shepard from obtaining his third feature victory on the 2016 race season.
Segraves settled for second while Dusty Leonard, Darrick Klima and Chris Kratzer rounding out the top five.
The two, eight lap heat races for the twelve car field were won by Segraves and Rob Day.
