There are two race tracks by Jefferson, SD. One is Raceway Park, a tight 1/4 mile bullring that did race 360s last night (Saturday). Very high banks in three and four and some good banking, not as steep, in one and two. Very good show last night, I thought. Three wide racing in the heats, last lap, last corner passes for wins in the heats and the feature. Bakker and Dover put on a helova race for the lead in the feature.

The other track is Park Jefferson Speedway which has been closed since 2011 although the stories now say it will be opening up again in June of this year for nine shows, two of them scheduled to be ASCS Midwest Region events. They also have two late model shows scheduled. That track is something like a 4/10 mile track with some high banked corners, too. When they used to run 410s there, they'd get clocked at 140 mph on the straights, reportedly.
