11 Exciting Updates for the new Red River Speedway!

Wichita Falls, TX (4/18/14) by DarinShort.com. There are so many exciting updates to share with you on the new Red River Speedway (RRS) in Wichita Falls, TX; they are all being unveiled below, topic by topic:

1. RRS Track Promoter is Announced! Mark Moseley is the Track Promoter at Red River Speedway and his email address is [email protected] .

Here’s Mark’s “racing bio in a nutshell”: Mark was introduced to drag racing at an early age through his father. He then went on to race Motocross as a youngster. Then mini-sprints became his focus, which segued into sprint car racing; including becoming the ASCS Lone Star region director. He also has six seasons of Modified racing under his belt – as owner and driver. In summary, Mark has a wide range of racing experiences – on each side of the fence, and we are thrilled to have him as Track Promoter!

2. RRS is pleased to announce that http://www.RockAuto.com has become a track sponsor. RockAuto, LLC was founded in Madison, Wisconsin in 1999 by the Taylor family. Their engineering background, passion for old cars, and desire to liberate information hidden behind the auto parts store counter led the Taylors to start RockAuto. Over the years, the company and its selection of parts have steadily grown. Millions of parts orders have been successfully delivered to RockAuto customers.

Click the link above, or at the track website, http://www.RRSpeedway.com to connect with them – we appreciate their support!

3. A new scoreboard going is up at RRS! To check it out, go to the homepage of the track website.

4. New buildings are going up underneath the main grandstand area. Those pictures, and their project are also posted at the track website.

5. Not a bleacher creature? Spectators can chose to bring in lawn chairs and blankets to sit and watch the races in designated areas. We realize some fans may really like this in place of sitting on bleachers. Pictures of the areas spectators can use lawn chairs and blankets to sit and watch the races are posted at the track website homepage.

6. Track Help Wanted! Various positions are currently available at the racetrack. For a listing of positions, please click the link on the track website; which also contains contact information.

7. Driver registration forms are ready for drivers to download and return to the speedway. The link to the form is under the ‘drivers’ tab at the track website.

8. RaceCeiver channel info is as follows: Channel 000 MRN, Frequency 454.000. As a backup, we have an alternate channel set up at: Channel 1368, Frequency 467.0875. We will let drivers know if and when the backup RaceCeiver channel is needed.

9. Light poles going up! The construction crews have finally gotten the light poles going back up. We’ve got several pictures posted at the track website.

10. Demo Derby rules now available for viewing/printing. They are posted under the ‘driver’ tab at the track website.

11. Open practice is still scheduled for 4/25. Any race divisions are welcome. Pits open at 5pm, Practice from 7-11pm (or so). Grandstands are free, however no outside food/drink to be brought in. All pit passes are $15 for all ages. You can also register your cars on practice night.
