I'm praying Robert Bell makes the C on Saturday night, I'd pray for the A but the place may implode if that happened.

I second it! just hoping the chips fall his way all week untill the last segment of the A, leave the talent on his lap then, and he will come thro! he has been looking sickly fast there the past couple years.

My family and friends have been talking about this. Nobody wants to spend $50 on a ticket for Saturday to watch Schatz win again. My daughter had a good point. How would we feel if Brian won and we were not there. We are going Wed. & Thurs. then I guess we will decide.

Robert Bell would be a lock for the A main if the following happens:
1. all bridges across the Mississippi river collapse.
2. A suprise volcano under the Rocky Mountains erupts causing all traffic to be halted to the East
3. Texas secedes from the Union and invades Louisiana and Oklahoma and erects a large wall disconnecting them from the other 47 states.
4. A large August blizzard cripples the highways of North and South Dakota.
When those things happen, Robert Bell will be in the A-main. And I will be there cheering for him.

I wouldn't mind seeing a new winner like everyone else, but if the 15 is the best again, so be it. He'll have had to earn it.

I agree if the 15 is the fastest let him have it , he earned it. That being said , damn im tired of seeing him win. My prayer would be a little different. I pray that sammy and steve not only make the A but they r contenders! Also that everyone is safe and no drivers r injured . Sure wouldnt mind seeing Brian Brown win it all. See you all in a few weeks. Ill b the one in the sprint car shirt.

Not going to Saturday because you are afraid of seeing one person win? That seems pretty silly. If you don't want to see him win then don't watch him. But there are 5 features that night and (hopefully) 100+ other drivers. Plenty of opportunities to watch the best drivers battle!

That is hilarious.... I love Robert. I love how sometimes he'll wave to the crowd while lining up during the heat races. It will be a sad day when he stops visiting Knoxville on a regular basis. He's doing what we all wish we could do! Someone needs to make him a shirt to sell.
With Donnie being so dominate the past 10 year, which I believe he's placed first or second, it'll make it that much sweeter when some one else wins.
Hopefully it's one of the Knoxville regulars this year...I could Brian Brown as a regular.

One of the all-time greatest moments of Nationals was last year when Robert was the first to qualify and Tony Bokhoven did the "QUICKKKK TIMMMEEEEEEE". What a memorable few seconds...

Dirthawk, I remember that! He can officially say he held quick time at the Knoxville Nationals for a brief moment.

If the 15 wins it, no big deal, If someone else wins it, the crowd will go crazy again. It was the same with Kinser all those years. I will still go to watch the Cali drivers.
I'm just waiting for someone to break the 42 year California winless streak. (Cali's last nats win 1971) Go Cali Clique!
