One week until the “Greatest Show on Dirt!” entertains the “Finest Race Fans in the World!

Last call for Advance/Reserve tickets for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup Twin 30s

Sarver, PA (July 9, 2013) Just one week from now, the “Greatest Show on Dirt” will return to the Action Track to entertain the “Finest Race Fans in the World” as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series invades Lernerville Speedway for the 22nd installment of the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup presented by GottaRace.com.Adult Advance/Reserved tickets are $39 and include a FREE fan pit pass upgrade if purchased by Monday, July 15 at 11:59 PM. Last year’s Silver Cup was another thrilling night of Twin 30-lap features starring the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Series regulars, 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart and an every growing core of local drivers.Craig Dollansky struck first by winning the first A-Main, but 2010 Lernerville Track Champion Danny Holtgraver stole the show by thrilling his home track crowd with an amazing run to a career best second place finish in a World of Outlaws feature event.Tony Stewart then kept the capacity crowd on its feet by winning the second A-Main, but Dollansky scored the overall Silver Cup Championship by virtue of his better average finish than Stewart.Holtgraver actually had the best overall finish; a feat that would have earned him the Silver Cup in the previous format before the rule change in 2011. Holtgraver went on to win the All Star Circuit of Champions feature in September and just last weekend won the All Star A-Main at the nearby Mercer Raceway Park.Fellow All Star and former Track Champion Dale Blaney became the third local driver to win a World of Outlaws A-Main at the Action Track in September by claiming the $10,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash.Of course both Tim Shaffer (2005 & 2011) and Ed Lynch Jr. (2002) have thrilled their home crowd with Silver Cup wins over the past decade. Multiple time and Defending World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz, (behind the wheel of the Tony Stewart Racing STP #15 car), scored a thrilling win last Friday Night at Dodge City Raceway Park with a last lap, last corner pass of Jason Sides. Current Outlaws points leader Daryn Pittman scored the win Saturday Night, (also at Dodge City), in the Kasey Kahne Great Clips #9 car.Pittman has six feature wins to his credit, while Schatz leads the tour with eight feature wins and sits third in points behind Paul McMahan and his three feature wins. The Outlaws are in Western Ohio this weekend, first for the Brad Doty Classic at Limaland Motorsports Park on Thursday, (originally scheduled for tomorrow, but postponed by rain) and the prestigious King’s Royal weekend at the historic Eldora Speedway on Friday & Saturday Nights. As mentioned above, Advance/Reserved tickets are on sale for just $39 for adults and $31 for ages 17 & under. Both ticket prices include FREE fan pit pass upgrades if purchased by next Monday, July 15 by 11:59PM.Tickets can be purchased 24/7 on our website www.Lernerville.com by clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon or by calling the Speedway office during normal business hours at (724) 353-1511.While not included in the FREE fan pit pass upgrade promotion, children 10 & under will be admitted FREE into General Admission; as is always the case at Lernerville Speedway for any and all shows on our schedule!
