Ladies, Gentlemen, Racers, Car Owners, Sponsors, and Fans;

I am posting this to reaffirm the dedication and can do spirit of the

Save Fair Speedway campaign.

Our vision and goal has always and will continue to be to revive and reestablish

State Fair Speedway to its rightful place in the annals of Oklahoma

Dirt Track Racing and to the people of Central Oklahoma. Although

we as a group and a racing fraternity suffered a minor setback with the

court ruling, that does not deter us in our goal it just binds us together

in a stronger fashion.

The glue that binds us together is the LOVE for State Fair Speedway and

Dirt Track Racing.

Our upcoming events are extremely important to our cause. The signing party

at The McGuinness Pub in Moore (http://www.danmcguinnesspub.com/moore/) on

Jan 28th, 2010; 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and the Save Fair Speedway Rally, Jan 30, 2010

12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Forest Building Supplies, 300 N. May, Oklahoma City, OK)

are in great need of attendance and support.

Finally, the work of the Peter Davis, Erich Petersen, John Banks Steve Griffin and Mandy

Hall-Griffin cannot and will not be understated. Their tireless efforts, outstanding dedication,

positive demeanour, and unrivalled enthusiasm have been superb. The group has spent

countless hours organising and facilitating a plan for action for this cause that we are undertaking.

Please know that we appreciate all support from all areas of the racing community

in the Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.

As we continue our fight, you will see a more energetic and directed effort.

We have lost this battle, but I will put my personal guarantee that this war

will be won.

Keep your head up and as they say, "to go left you have to turn right".

Sincerely,

John E. Banks

Well put John, Good job to all that has busted their butts in this fight. It's like any race night track conditions some nights are smooth and almost perfect for some(lol) and it seems like almost everybody is on top. Then you got your rough nights where you can't stay on top of the ruts or stay on the track. You either grit your teeth , get up on the wheel, gather it up and move forward or let off give up and pack it up or quit. This group is fighting for ALL of us in the racing community not just a certain few.

Save Our Speedway is moving forward and all support would be appreciated.
