he got 15 to life. Im guessing he's still in the joint. Dont think he's been paroled. Possibly was eligible for parole in 2007 according to Merc archives..

I have to share a memory of Bobby B. that I will never ever forget. I believe it was one of the last stops at Petaluma for the World of Outlaws, many many years ago. Spent the nite in the pits and Bobby started on the outside of the front row for the A main. They lined up the sprinters on the front stretch and Bobby was one of the first to be pushed
off, lite the motor around turn one, came out of turn two, did a short wheelie, got sideways and promptly
stuck the front end of the car into the back stretch wall, destroying the front end of the sprinter. I stood
there on the back stretch wall and cheered the hell out of that display. I thought it was awesome.
Gramps was not happy with his grandson.....

And then there was the time . . . . at 'stoga when he came off T-4 straight into the fence and punched
right thru it! That was when they had the old wood fence before Bob Cansani poured the concrete
walls. After the incident we interviewed him and he said, "I've been hurt worse riding a mini-bike!"

Hey, my memory isn't what it used to be of course, but wasn't a relative of BB on this board a few months ago? Maybe a son or nephew? Was asking for pics and or memories of BB and if I remember correctly, was getting ready to start racing himself?

This one probably no one knows, but Bob Consani actually put him in his sprint car. He never got to drive it because of the legal trouble, however. I went to Bob's shop one day and there was the hood of the sprint car with fresh paint on it saying Bobby Buhler. Alas, it never happened.
Also, my brain may be shot, and for sure I remember Buhler stuffing the wall at Calistoga, but I also remember him setting fast time vs. the Outlaws at Baylands and I thought that was where he hit the backstretch wall upon being pushed off.
I don't remember Buhler ever here at Petaluma except once for an open show that had a bunch of guys that didn't travel south for an outlaw show at Santa Maria. The final WORLD OF OUTLAW show here at Petaluma was in '85 and won by Bobby Davis, Jr. in the Moeller Bros. sponsored #18.

I thought Anthony was "Mr. Excitement"? A nick name also used for Marshall Sargent years ago.

Yeah, they've taken to calling him Mr. Excitement at Ocean. Not sure if that's meant in the same Andy Forsberg "mr excitement" sense or not...
