Scott has cracked me up in the past with his whimsical moments behind the mic, but a comment during Time Trials on 27 September 2008 at the PAS made me spew coffee all over my desk.

September 27, 2008 Time Trials.

"All the way down from Visalia, who's been picking his nuts this week, that's his Wall Nuts because he is a Wall Nut farmer… this is Greg Bragg. Sponsored by Tom Ingram Motorsports, Phil & Eileen King, Huntington Beach Glass & Mirror, CRD, RC performance, Sander Engineering and Maxwell Industries.

17.573 the first lap for Bragg, 17.573….

Greg was running second in the main a couple weeks ago here at the PAS, ran over a muffler on the race track, flattened his tire, tore up the front end and finished way back……

17.133 fast time fro Greg Bragg !!!! 17.133….. That shows you what picking your nuts will do for ya."

You're insane Scott, don't ever change. wink Smile Smile

For a moment there, I thought I'd been transported back in time to the Ascot days of Bruce Flanders!  Those were the days.

Great thread earnhardtjunkie. Scott is the best anywhere! We all appreciate his sense of humor and style. My favorite, though is a very simple, "And here come JONES!!" May you and your family have a great holiday season Scott. Your fans. The Davidson family.

Thats a good one.

I have heard this one many times, "Talledega, Talledega, Talledega!"

Scott, you are the best!

Although not a quote from Scott, whenever you hear a sound bite saying "nice software" come over the speakers it will be worth your while to have a look around the stands by the announcers booth!

Took me a while to learn to put down my pencil when Scott would give that very last "write in". Caught me several times in my "rookie" season.

Another was referring to Tony Jones' favorite driver; Garrett Hansen. wink

If I remember right, Cardey biked it pretty good and Scott said "he did everything but go airplane racing"

Scott is a great announcer and has an awesome sense of humor but nothing he says after that quote can earn him anymore respect from me then his words right there! It is just sad that they have to be said in the first place!

LOL, I actually wrote Kimbo Slice's name down in my program. Needless to say, I felt pretty stupid, but we had a good time laughing about it.

When a driver wins a race at the PAS, Scott makes sure he climbs out of that car to a thunderous applause by this one. "HE CAN HEAR YOU NOW". I love to hear the crowd show their appreciation for the main event winners at the PAS and Scott is part of the reason why this happens.

I'm looking forward to early June of 2009 when Scott congratulates the San Jose Sharks on winning the Stanley Cup.

Another favorite of mine is when Scott thanks Ralphie (por favor senor Ralphie), with a mexican flair, for the cerveza that Ralphie usually sends his way. Smile Maybe someone knows the complete quote?

There is nothing I like to hear Scott say more than "He's already out of the car and appears to be OK"
