So how long till 2KS and Carson McCarl "part ways"? I'm not blaming either party but wow I didn't inversion it going this poorly! They are pathetic like wow rookies look better than them, they couldn't have won a 360 feature all year!

Actually felt bad for Carson as soon as I heard he was going to the 2KS. The owner runs an intersting program over there in Mitchellville. Eventually, Lamberti and Albaugh are going to "part ways" with the 2KS.

Stupid question, and I mean nothing by this question just more FYI. Is the 2KS the same owners that owned Brooke Tatnell's ride on the Outlaw trail years ago.

Lamberti has known the Landers for a lifetime as a family friend. And Troy  won him the Kings Royal. Lonny Parsons had the 6 car, which is the other really good friend of Lamberti. Gil, Don and Lonny high school best friends

Lambertti and Albaugh are helping many teams. Others peoples money is how several teams have survived for years.

Or Johnny Herrera won him a Kings Royal in spite of Troy?

The car had multiple podiums last year with Madsen so  Troy knows what he's doing. Sometimes it doesn't work out, Carson is a good wheelman and Troy Knows his way a round a racecar. I wish them both the best

Well the 2KS runs about as well as the Barnstormers play football... like shit. They can't have a lot of money into that team especially considering who their sponsor is

Sometimes things dont work out. Carson is a good driver and Jack will be fine to. The 2ks started with Don Droud Jr who is a good experienced driver But like it used to be comes with helmet but did help get Caseys as Don Lambertti was on Gils car. After that Ian did pretty well. Lot of pretty equal cars out there. Not a profitable deal to be an owner and rely on sponser money if you are not a contender.

Don didnt help get the Casey's sponsor. More to it than that. The 2ks is alike a spin off of the 47. Alot of the same people along the way with the 47, in all aspects from sponsors, owners, drivers and old crew have come through the 2ks.  Gil's car would have been the older teammate to the 2ks today

Gil will always be one of the best owners.Donny could make or fix what most would just buy new. Randy had his best years with Gil Frank Louie Corey and Don. Should have stayed put but the grass always looks greener. The East Siders stick together,Jeff Swindell making the A main at Nationals was memorable. Shame Jack had bad luck in 2KS as He is an up and comer. Your probably right but at the time without Caseys help Gils 47 wouldnt be able to continue and was told Don L. actually wanted Gil to retire as they were close friends and Gil had some health issues but loved racing. Always be our favorite car owner.

The sad part is there have been genuinely talented drivers in the 2KS, people who understand sprint cars and could’ve helped elevate that team. But from what I’ve seen in the pits, Renfro carries himself like he’s the baddest man at the track like he’s got it all figured out and doesn’t need anyone else. That attitude shows. He won’t even take the time to acknowledge fans or kids, and it pushes people away. It turns off crew members, drives away good drivers, and hurts the team overall.

And the reality is, he doesn’t even own the car and isn’t the crew chief yet he’s still the one making the calls. So what does he really bring besides an available garage stall and some well-off contacts? He acts like a king, but there’s no castle to back it up.

Don't mean to rant and I am sure that people will respond frusteated but that Jack Anderson crash last weekend was enough to tip the wagon for me

YATYAS isn't wrong here.  Troy has always tried to pull off the I know everything attitude and doesn't have any of the success to back it up.

I've worked with Troy and when I was young long ago.  and you are right sometimes (ok alot)  his attitude stinks, but he has a heart.  He's just one of those grumbly shop guys. And I wonder where you get that he doesnt own it.

Edit  Troy and Tammy founded the team. Troy named the team after the initials of the 3 women in his life. Tammy's Parents put money into it. how does he not own it? TKS ;  Tammy, Katelyn and Sydney the owners twin daughters.
