RPM Speedway in Crandall raced last night.    It wasn't a sprint car show, so I didn't go but my brother did.   Looks like there was a small crowd in the stands.    The track in Wichita Falls is running Sprint Bandits next weekend.   Devils Bowl also opens next Saturday night.    Even though I'm not into 305s that much I will probably go.   At least Devils Bowl doesn't run eight classes.   It'll feel good to sit in the stands and hear the engines and smell the fumes!    Social distancing won't be a problem for their weekly show.     People may have differing opinions on this, but I really don't think most outdoor events are a problem, especially where distance is maintained.    It seems to me like in most cases where this virus has spread like wildfire, it has been from large amounts of people being indoors in tighter quarters.   We'll see how things go, but I hope this is a sign that this thing is slowly getting behind us.

I cannot find anything on Devils Bowl Facebook indicating that they have any idea when they will race. Where can I find the info you shared that Devils Bowl will be racing next week?

Their web page, www.devilsbowl.com.   You may need to scroll down just a bit.   The first thing on there is that the WoO race originally scheduled for today was postponed and they are working on a new date.   The info on May 9th should be right below it though.

Monarch Motor Speedway will also be running the RaceSaver Sprint Series of Oklahoma on Friday May 8.

So its a doubleheader weekend in Wichita Falls, TX.

Sprint Series of Oklahoma, presented by Smiley's Racing Products, is happy to announce that we will be racing next Friday night at Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas!
