Looked at the results page on their website, seems like very little passing in the heats. Did anyone attend to share how the event was entertainment wise?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Heats were good with only a four car invert and top three transferring the fast guys started up front. Some had good battles for transfer and the lead. The +/- stats probably didn’t look like much but weren’t a good representation of the race. TK in his heat was amazing For instance.
Pole shuffle was very good.
A main was excellent.

A Main was one of the best Knoxville races I've seen in a long time. If Scelzi hadn't scrubbed the wall as Gravel was into heavy lapped traffic, he could have stolen it. But the battle between Gravel/Brown/Scelzi was tremendous.
King of the Hill pole dash is a great idea. I wish they'd do that for the Nationals A-Main. Have the top 8 point winners go Friday night.
Heats were typical, follow the leader stuff. Overall, still a solid show and a great addition to Nationals Week.
Is this heaven?
No, it's Iowa....Knoxville, Iowa.

Interesting to see some of the King of the Hill stuff, I've always thought it has kind of sucked to determine starting position. There have definitely been a few instances of one car being fast and winning a few to move up spots, but I feel like most of the time there's a dominant line and it shows.
I like the Knoxville format as it is now. Feel like it balances everything very well.

Speaking of last night's race in the past I have watched the results page on the Knoxville website while listening to audio on the local Knoxville station KNIA/KRLS. I haven't followed along much this year but I was looking for the link on the radio stations page and couldn't find anything about the races. Have they dropped their coverage at the local station? It has never been the best site to navigate for live streaming but I used to find racing links when I dug around on it in the past.
It looks Dirtvision is covering the audio so maybe the station dropped it as part of Dirtvision taking over their broadcasts. Just kind of thinking it would be wise to stay off the Dirtvision site until next week or I'm going to pull out my Visa and go wild and have to answer to my "accountant".

I have already pulled out my Credit card and bought the 4 nights of the Nationals. Great racing all 4 nights = a lot of fun! No other race/event even comes close to the excitement of the Nationals!
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

You were spot on about the Cappy. I did make it last night and it was fantastic! I'm sure they are all not like this, but they really can't be.
As for response to earlier comment about heats----I thought the heats were normal heats. Most are not real good racing, but some, especially the latter heats, produce some good racing. Heats have never been all that great. Even the Nationals heats with 8 car inverts can disappoint sometimes.
Fantastic night of racing. It only takes a few "edge of your seat" moments to turn a racing night into a 10. A couple of heats were quite racy. C main was dull. First B main was "meh." Second B main was a barn burner and A main-------they do not get any better. Dare I say, it was a better battle than the Johnson/Schatz battle. The context and payday was not there, so in terms of shear excitement, it was not quite at the same level. But, the racing was every bit as good if not a level higher. If we get 1/2 that racing Wed-Saturday, we are in for a treat!
Also, was TK the fastest car on the track by the end of the A? Wow! I hope they took good notes.
I am back in IL until Wednesday morning. Can't wait to get back out there.

Yes, it was. However, I have had such a nightmare the last few years since I bought this gigantic camper so I wanted to go out early and setup while the campground was not completely jammed full! This may be the last year for the big camper.
I cannot wait to return Wednesday morning.

So KNIA KRLS still carries the races but no longer on 92.1. Now it’s on their other station 95.3. So you can still get it off the same website just go to the next station down. As a local it’s a total bummer as 95.3 won’t come in unless I’m within 20 miles of Knoxville where as 92.1 always came in at my house 40 miles away. Pre race 5-6 I think and then race nights live at 7. Probably still the same for nationals and the local announcers do a great job! I love listening to the pre race on my trip over to Knoxville ( within 20 miles at least)

I wanna know who won the 'put heat in your engines'?
And the trophy girls race?
OR the push truck race?

Boring! Zero passing. I usually like good motor heats, hot laps and heats. I usually leave before the B so I can get out of town ahead of the traffic and get home for Matlock and Wapner.
