Anyone know what time Knoxville was done? The electricity went out and they didn't get started racing until almost 10.
You can tell an ass... but, you can't tell 'em much

Really? A race track like Knoxville needs to buy electricity? Ive seen some very large diesel generators at much smaller tracks who race under the lights. I cant imagine going 110 mph into the corner ar 9 30 pm and have the lights go out.
Not saying you're wrong but I've always thought night racing relied on themselves for visibility!
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I'm not sure exactly what time the races got done, but the wife and I were out walking around the track at 11:40pm. I heard that 2 tranformers blew affecting other neaerby properties as well.

They did a terrific job. They adjusted the program to draw heats and passing points rather than run all the standard program time trials for the three divisions. That decision really saved a lot of time.
