Track announcers telling you all night what race track you're at. Most of us know where we're at.

Not having a track.
Seriously, not getting the show on the road. Run ever race like you do on the nights you know a big rain storm is heading your way.

Drunks and morons who know nothing about sprint cars but think they are experts. Like the guy sitting behind me one night that told his son that Rico STANDS UP in his car to drive it, rather than sit like other drivers.

Having intermissions Only to sell more hot dogs. If cars aren’t on track should be for opening ceremonies or because they’re working track or for a medical emergency.

1.) Anytime the announcer says "ok folks, we are going to have a brief intermission so now would be a good time to visit the concession stand."
2.) Starting the program late (other than weather related). Could you imagine a sporting event of any kind just randomly running behind 20,30...or 45 minutes?

I realize its the announcers job to try to drum up interest in things but sometimes you wonder if they're watching the same race from the announcers both that you're watching from the stands.
I was at a WoO show several years back, at a local now sitting idle race track, that was a tire eater/toilet bowl race. During a yellow flag the announcer who shall remain nameless said something to the effect of "the race to the finish could really get interesting as tire wear comes into play".
What he should have said was "were sorry no one did any track prep prior to hot laps, were sorry that this race has been a follow the leader tire eating rubber down snooze fest that you paid $30 to see".
Besides that I'll echo everyone elses sentiments, start the show on time and keep it moving. Put real time limits on support classes or count laps under yellow.

YES. THIS.
I wasnt there...but apparently last night the IRA show had 360's and also Dirt Kings Late Models. They ran the 360's first...then re-worked the track.
We always hear about 'kids at the races'. Unless I want to pay the price at home the next day with their mom and with their own crankiness due to lack of sleep, I can't drive 45 minutes minimum to a show, and not get on the road on the way home until after midnight.

Amen. I attended an IRA race a couple weeks ago and I could not believe that the show was done by 10. Unheard of. Loved every minute of it. I will probably never see that again

When the WoO give additional hot laps to drivers who went out when the track was too wet.Love the WoO, I know why they do it, but it slows down the show and the drivers that run with the Outlaws are experienced enough to deal with it.

1. When the terms “postponed” and “cancelled” are used incorrectly 90% of the time.
2. THREE division shows tops; more than three, I don’t go

I'm definetly with you on #2. I would attend many of the ASCS regional shows down here in Dallas if the tracks would not run seven other classes. Devils Bowl is the only one that doesn't do that.

Can I add post-race write-ups that obviously try to make a race sound a lot better than it was. "Even though every race was won from the front row, the feature winner, who was also the fast timer, first heat race winner and dash winner, did have to deal with some lapped traffic."

Reworking the track before the main and over- watering it to where in the 40 lap feature it is single file for 30 laps because it took 30 laps to blow the slime off. Would seriously rather watch them try to pass in the rubber strip than on an overwatered single file slimey piece of crap. Should always run the top class A main first

Smoking. I know I'll catch some heat on this but take your cancer some place else. If I go to the tracking want to smell methenol not cigarette smoke. Usually I can move some place to get away from it but it's annoying as hell having to go through the inconvenience of moving your stuff because of inconsiderate people. Especially when you have kids and don't want them getting it in their lungs.
Best thing I have seen is at Eldora on the front stretch grandstand is a sign that says no smoking.

A lot of this applies to my home track. The love of sprint cars drags me back for more abbuse.
. 1) After we go through the TSA search to get in the track we are not allowed to leave to get a extra blanket or anything from our vehicle.
2) Paying for ridiculously over priced food and drinks.
3) Over Priced tickets to get parked and into the track. Would not be able to afford to bring a family to the track .
Support your local (SPRINT CARS)

Tracks that don't give you a single second to pull your ear plugs out. When the cars stop, the commercials and music start. They must think dirt track fans are too stupid to quietly converse amongst ourselves.
