Its a non points race so I would guess only a few. Schultz has tried Knoxville in the past so I would expect to see him again. Schmidts car owner also owns Hendersons I believe so I would expect to see him there getting quality laps with some help on setups from Justin. Not to mention that Ben raced Knoxville a decent amount last year too. Balog??? No idea on his true outlaw type schedule. He could be anywhere. Reinke comes once in a while as well and has plenty of experience around here so I see no reason he wouldn't be here. Blackhurst has never been to K ville as far as I know but every race I see him in anymore he is bad fast. I would love to see what they could do there. Thiel and a few other possible but I wouldn't bet the house on it.

Balog tweeted on Sunday his schedule for this upcoming weekend was Jackson Friday, Knoxville Saturday.  That could change as he is running a true outlaw schedule it seems, but that's what his team tweeted last week.  No updates since then.

Jackson was forced to push their opener back a week so that could shake things up as well.

That's correct, but this Friday is the first scheduled sprint car night event of the season. The first two weeks were not scheduled to be sprint car events. So weather permitting this will be the show as scheduled all along. You're right, maybe Jackson Motorplex running will enhance the 410 car count at Knoxville.

Henderson is the only driver for Thone Motorsports. Ben Schmidt is driving for another team.

Why don't you just STFU! We know you're jealous of Knoxville and Jackson! Get over it. Your pal Chuck screwed everything up for you.

I meant that they cancelled for this Friday the 11th and pushed it back to the 18th.  That will shake things up in a different way.

My bad. At some point they were teammates in the last few years but my keeping up with the IRA is somewhat lacking. I know most of the drivers and attend 1-2 of their races a year. They just don't get the same publicity as alot of other series. None the less they still put on an excellent show and are kind of a hidden gem with the cool tracks they run around Wisconsin.

I don't recall stating anything that could be misconstrued to mean "all these cars"......the discussion was about Balog (and maybe others) coming to the area to pick up on two shows rather than just one. Kind of like a few years ago when some drivers were considering the area because they could do three shows. Remember that?

What a joke the IRA is.  They have Knoxville on their schedule but have not said one thing about the 1 car that showed up on facebook or twiter or their website.

One car?  WOW, just WOW. All I will say is that I am not surprised. I’m thinking that there will be an excuse made by the powers that be.   But it was on the schedule but a non points show. No excuse for only one car. NONE

I am not making excuses and I do not know the real answer, but I would guess 1 of the reasons would be is that Knoxville is a horsepower type of track and that 99% of the drivers in the IRA don't have that kind of horsepower/motor to be competitive at Knoxville.

I get that, I really do, then why on earth would you even bother to have it on the schedule (non points) when you know the guys lack the HP to run the track and no one is going to show?  If I was a Knoxville attendee, and saw that on the schedule, I would have expected MORE than what I got and would have been pissed. Just MY humble opinion
