Hello, 

On 10/1, Curtis Read is holding a BBQ to say thank you to all of the teams who are towing over and racing.  This is for the owners, crews and drivers.  Just bring your appetite and eat.

For any Fans that want to join us, we ask that you bring your own meat dish to bbq and some extra and a side dish.

We are also looking for more tables, chairs, ice chests and other things:

Plastic flatware, paper plates, trash bags, 

Side dishes:  (suggestions)  Chips, Dip, Salsa, Potato Salad, Pickles, BBQ Beans 

Condiments/Extras:  Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Cheese, Mayo, Mustard, Catsup, BBQ Sauce, Pickle Relish.

Desserts:  cookies, cake, brownies or anything you can think of.

The BBQ is set to start at 3, but if the teams think it should be earlier, please let me know.

Just wanted to put out an update.

It looks like a few of the guests for the Hall of Fame race will join us at the BBQ.  I invited Duke Cook who asked if he could bring Jimmy Oskie.  Of course Jimmy is welcome.  Ron and Paula Shuman are going to try and make it as well.

Every racing team and fan is invited.  Only thing the racers need to bring is a chair to sit on.  For the fans, make sure you bring extra for the racers.

Again, we realize this isn't much, but it's our way of saying thank you to each team for coming over.  Everyone is invited.

Another update.  Response has been great from racers and fans for the BBQ.

We are very excited to host our annual BBQ at the USAC/CRA race.  We have heard from a few of the honored guests who will be joining us too.

If you are a fan bring what you want to BBQ,  a little extra for the racers and a dish to share.  Don't forget chairs to sit on and if you have an EZ-UP, it would be appreciated.

The BBQ starts around 3pm and will be in he parking area in turn 1.
