Don’t Miss These Special NCRA Month of April Events!

Park City, Kansas – April 4, 2016 - The calendar has switched to April and three of the four National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products divisions will be in race action with two of those divisions opening their 2016 race season.

With the season opening $10,000 to win, sixth annual “Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout” for the series sprint car division now behind us, the tour will once again be joined by the gomuddy.com NSL 360 series on Saturday night, April 16, at 81 Speedway in Park City for race number two of the season. Joining them on the race card will be the 18th consecutive season opener for the series modified division where two-time and defending tour champion Dan Powers looks to three-peat as tour champion, the first to do so since 2003-2007 when former champion Brian Franz won five straight titles.

Pit gates open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand general admission tickets are just $15 for this event. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City. For more race information contact the speedway office (316) 755-1781 and get daily updates by accessing their official facebook page: Race 81 Speedway.

Then on Saturday night, April 30, the “gladiators” of the NCRA crate late model division will kick off their 33rd season with their first ever appearance at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas. Last year’s co-champions Dan Smith and Chris Kratzer will look to take sole possession of the series late model championship while a host of others will also look to have their say on the 2016 title.

Pit gates for the RPM Speedway event will open at 4:00 PM with racing set to get underway at 7:00 PM. RPM Speedway is located off of I-70 at exit 157 and is located on the Ellis County Fairgrounds.
