Marketing Opportunities for Ten to Win at 81 Speedway!

Park City, Kansas – January 17, 2016 - With the season opener for both the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products and gomuddy.com National Sprint League 360 sprint car series approaching two months away, all eyes are focused on the sixth annual sprint car classic at 81 Speedway in Park City. And with the added excitement for this March 25-27, 2016 event that will pay $10,000 to win, this event will have a new name.

After a tourism board meeting in early January, Park City, Kansas, a suburb just north of Wichita, has climbed on board and the event will officially be called “The Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout.”

Also, 81 Speedway has several marketing opportunities available, including the following packages: Green Flag, White Flag, Checker flag, All Access “Pit Pass,” Pole Position, Last Car and Friday Feature Event Lap Money. If interested in more details pertaining to these marketing opportunities, contact Warren Hardy (316) 755-1781.

A one day event the previous years, the 2016 rendition will be a three day event at 81 Speedway scheduled for Thursday through Saturday night, March 24-26, 2016. Thursday night will be an open practice session with a special “time trial session” that will pay $500 for quick time, $300 for second quick and $200 for third quick time. There will be a $10 entry fee for the special time trial session and will have no bearing on Friday and Saturday night’s events.

Friday night’s race action will pay $1500 to the night’s feature winner and $250 to start the twenty-four car feature finale.

The “Air Capital Shootout” paid $3000 to start back in 2011 and Hall had promised the event would grow larger each year. The following year the winners share paid $5000 before this year’s fifth annual event paid $3000 to win. Danny Lasoski (2011, 2015) and Jason Johnson (2012, 2013) are two-time winners of this event while Kevin Swindell picked up the win in 2014.

More details on the largest paying sprint car purse in 81 Speedway’s history will be released in the coming weeks and can be obtained here as well as the official track website www.race81speedway.com and their official facebook page 81 Speedway.
