Just guessing here, but it would seem like the owners in Australia have figured out that the Posse drivers never do anything outside Pennsylvania?

Possibly want too much money to come. Not a lot of sugar daddy car owners in Australia.
Losing is natures way of saying you suck.

After Rahmers 'performance' in the best ride in the country a few years back they don't get called a lot. No shortage of car owners here looking for drivers but they expect more than 'holiday mode'

About 20 years ago Freddie won the PCR Nationals over a very stellar field, so he wasn't always just 'on vacation' there. Grab your old Speedway Racing News and read the story titled 'Freddy wins one for the kids". It was the same week his triplets were born.....

Not defending anyone but it takes more than a driver to have a good night. Sometimes you can have all the right people and it just doesn't work. Change a crew chief or driver and the car catches fire for no good reason.

As a regular attendee at Valvoline Racemay (formerly PCR) in Sydney I would like to add a few comments.
Todd Shaffer raced at PCR back in about 1998/1999 and he was very competitive. He won some races including a round of World Series Sprintcars.
Not all of the US competitors at VR come from the West Coast. One of the US drivers who is most respected and admired is MIdwesterner Danny Smith. Danny has competed in the Grand Annual Sprint Car Classic at Warrnambool, Victoria 26 times and this year will be his 27th visit. Danny won The Classic in 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1996.
The Classic will be held on Jan 22, 23 and 24.
I have enjoyed watching many great US drivers compete at VR over the past few years including Shane Stewart, Donny Schatz, Steve Kinser, Kraig Kinser, Randy Hannigan, Jack and Sheldon Haudenschild and Justin Henderson. However, for the past two years the winningest US driver at VR has been Westcoaster Brad Sweet driving the Ruhs Brothers Highrace Towing #99.

I'd like to think Danny D. will do well over there. He's a gasser and great on smaller tracks as well as being easy on equipment, hope he becomes a fan favorite....
