Just got back from Iowa,wow! Over 320 modifieds, not many I knew, 1 okla. car from Owasso, didn't know him Mark S. #58. Lots of nice cars, 40 heats a night of mods. Part of thursday was rained out so on friday they started at noon and went until 1:00 am. Troy Taylor was their and he made the feature finished about 13th. Mod champ was Todd Schutt #5 , lots of fast cars, the 5 time champ of the race didn't make the main event John Lodgue #69. Neat track, seating is so crowded.

That's probably Mark Shaffitzel #59 from Owasso.

tls11, that is one week of racing that I do want to make. However, if the grandstands are packed then may not be for me as I hate crowds. But I do want to take in one week of IMCA Super Nationals.
But USMTS has thrown in a detour. Their Fall Jamboree in Deer Creek, Minnesota looks very appealing and they had over 100 modifieds for that race for the first time,

If you go on ebay and click on tickets, then type in Texas Motor Speedway, they had some tickets to the big modified race down there up for auction.
