I haven't heard anything about him changing the name.

My take on the deal. If we go down there and see close to 40 410's and 30+ 360's like my son and I used to do in the VFW days we're onboard for anything they want to call the place. Until we see that on a regular basis it's nothing more than rebranding to generate some hype. I'm a pretty old dude who's roots go back to 20,000 people packing the stands for a 1962 IMCA race at the Minnesota State Fair so it's pretty hard to fool me with hype. I only get wood for real results.

I think if he is switching the name it will fit in with all the changes that are taking place this fall, winter and next spring with huge new grand stands, huge new pit area on East side of track, and reshaping of the race track again not width or size but more banking in corners and on straight aways, plus ALOT more which is unbelievable. The new grand stand alone has seating for 15,000 or 17,000 something in that range. So I guess Jackson Motorplex will fit good.
