There has been much discussion on this forum about how poor 410 racing has been this year. Admittedly a few I have attended this year have been snoozers...Friday at the Grove, for example, was a wreckfest with 4 red flags and only 10 cars finishing. But the remainder of the 4 day weekend was exciting...(1) Saturday at Lincoln, a 4 car battle for the lead on the last lap with Freddie Rahmer pulling it out at the checkered flag. (2) Last night at the Grove, Haas taking the lead coming to the white flag, and (3) today at Port, Marks getting his first win of the season coming out on top of a 3 car battle for the lead on the last turn of the last lap. Definition of a 'good race' can vary from fan to fan, but finishes don't get any better than that.

Your right on all accounts of what you said in your message, I as well have seen some real boring races . But today as this man states at Port Royal I have to admit I saw what I can't believe was a great race up front and in the field . Everything is usually stacked up against a day time race especially when the sun is beaming down at 84 to 90 degrees . But working the track and teams making adjustments to there cars prior to feature time made it a great daytime race overcoming heat and a power problem which delayed the feature as well .

410 racing has been pretty great all year.

In my opinion, the most boring races have been WoO events....not all of them, but too darn many!

I have believed  for  a  long  time  that  the  regular  Saturday  night  shows  at  Knoxville  are better than the WoO shows there most of the  time.  Great 410 taking all summer long.

I've never seen a boring 410/360/305 sprint car race in my life.
