Feel sorry for the crew guys who help all year keeping the cars on the track to help a friend or relative and then having to $40 to get in the pits on saturday.    Glad to see Mr. Quiring has mastered backgate promoting in his first year of track ownership....

I would love to, but the beggining of the month is a bad time money wise, So we'll have to miss both Fri. and Sat. night. Wish we had a money tree in the back yard. But we're not that lucky. So we will probably go down to the Iowa Great Lakes and look at all the flea markets (but not spend any money) and come home to our air conditioning and watch a movie. By not going to the races I figure we will save $200.  Glen

The $40.00 is for the party area on the inside of the track.  Drive your own vehicle in, grill, cooler, and have a good time.  What is the price difference to the infield party area in Osky?  Not a bad deal imo.

Last family camping trip for us too. No Jackson Nats.  Osky infield party tickets are $25.00.

I'm on the fence. Looks like the qualifying procedures could be interesting. Wondering how many cars they will get? NSL has published about 35 drivers with 'intentions' to run - one would think for $25k to win, there would be 50+.

Agree with others about the costs being pretty steep.

The cream is in a good dozen of those 35.

Do you really need another 15 backmarkers and a C-main?

Agreed - many good drivers in that list. Never said anything about back markers. Was thinking about guys like Henderson, Dale Blaney, maybe even the King.

And why not a C Main? More bang for the $50-$60 I'm going to plunk down for tickets both nights Smile

I completely agree.  I'll be there both night and would like a great car count which it sounds like it will be.  A bit light on the 360 purse but still it should be a good show.

Anybody heard of other drivers that may be attending? Obviously we won't know for sure until race night, but just wondering what the word on the street is Smile

I wouldn't count Sammy out. Anxious to see his car.

My wife and I will be there! The "second coming" of the Jackson Nationals begins this weekend. I remember the days when the Jackson Nationals was a WoO event that paid $10,000.00 back in the '80's. The race eventually went to the dogs in my opinion and we quit going. Now there is a reason to go back. Here we are in 2015 and one of the "Big 3" will be competing in the event once again. Back in the day I was Wolfie fan all the way, but now root for the guys that ran back in the day.....and they can still turn a wheel in a sprint car. I also like the crop of drivers that make up the top 10 or 12 of the series. The NSL has one heck of a roster of very tough drivers and very good cars. And all but a few are in new situations. I believe the NSL is going to do some great things in the years to come. Look what it's done for Lasoski. The past several years he was a shadow of what he was. Searching for rides and not getting the opportunity to show he could still get it done. He's proven that he can.....and this was just his first year back with Guy Forbrook and first year in quite some time in a real quality ride. Yes, we're going. We're going to support the track and the series....and the event!
