4th Annual Capitani Classic Gets Even Bigger

For the last three years, the Capitani Classic has been one of the biggest single night events at the Knoxville Raceway, as it gives drivers one final shot to shake down their 410’s at the Knoxville Raceway prior the to famed Knoxville Nationals.
This year, the 2015 Capitani Classic gets a little bigger as Kustom Concrete Pumping and Greenland Homes of Iowa have come on board to raise the stakes for this event that pays homage to the former promoter of the Knoxville Raceway, Ralph Capitani.
KCP will be this year’s presenting sponsor of the $5000-to-win event, while Greenland Homes of Iowa will sponsor the $3000-to-win pole shoot out, a new twist to the event in 2015.
The Top-Eight qualifiers transfer through their heat races on this night will race head to head with the winner advancing to the next round as the first four rows of the feature event are set. The last man standing will take home the cool $3000 and earn the right to start on the pole for the prestigious event.
