Southern Oklahoma Speedway to Host TOMS this Saturday Night!

 

Ardmore, Oklahoma – July 28, 2015 - For the third time this season, Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma will host the Texas Outlaw Modified Series this coming Saturday night, August 1. Also competing will be the tracks limited modifieds, hobby stock, stock car and the new economy modified divisions.

In the two previous events held at the three-eighths mile oval it was Thomas Tillison, Jr. picking up the victory in the series first appearance back on May 2 and most recently it was Sean Jones picking up the $1500 paycheck back on June 6.

Bobby Malchus currently leads the TOMS point standings and has a 50 point lead over fellow Texas driver Triston Dycus. Drivers in the top ten who are also expected to compete include; Clyde Dunn, Jr. Josh Landers, Mike Dillard, Wesley Veal, Colby Smith, Troy Taylor, Chris Huckeba and Austin Theiss.

Track regulars who are expected to defend the “home turf” of S.O.S. include; Cam Case, Buddy Honacker, Travis Penrod, Kyle Robinson, Harold Winton, Jr. and Sr., Jay and Tyler Sale.

Tillison is also expected to be on hand and become a two-time TOMS winner at the speedway with Dustin Allen, Randy Timms and Sam Cox just a few of the over thirty drivers expected.         

Gates open at 5:00 PM with race time slated for 7:30 PM. Adult general admission tickets are just $20; kids ages 6-12 and all seniors $15 while all pit passes will be $30.

Southern Oklahoma Speedway is located off of I-35 to exit 29, then 0.7 miles east on Hwy 70, then south on Hwy 77 approximately 2 miles.
