Will we see anyone from the Central PA region come over the PA/OH border to try to steal the $10,000 pay day?

Will see Ryan Smith #94 , but then he is following alot of All Star races , orginally Brent Marks had said he was going to Sharon but I believed he changed his mind to pursue Eldora and other race before Kings Royal. But possibly others could come , as I do hope so , Sharon is becoming one of the most progressive tracks around with many positive changes going on . I do hope a HUGE CROWD TURNS OUT TO SUPPORT THIS RACE . Alot of kid events , Chinese auction , a dinner with the Blaney's , and other solid ideas to make this annual race a great event . If any fans have not visited this track , you should put it on your list of tracks to see .

Results in at Sharon Speedway for the Lou Blaney Memorial , Sheldon Haudenchild (1st) , Ryan Smith (2nd) only 35 cars for a 10,OOO PURSE , disappointing I think but then most local guys race locally , looked like a great crowd in attendance for a great cause , a great track and celebrating a great driver . One thing to me is becoming quite clear , teams can't afford to travel like they use to which is why the NSL is so successful ,and maybe racing will become more regionalized instead of east coast to west coast ? or just less traveling in general .

Thanks for your comments to this message , the Lou Blaney Memorial is becoming a race with more prestige , purse , and fun for fans at a very progressive facility that is well manged by Mr . Dave Willoughby the GM . Hopefully more drivers from all over including central Pa will venture to a great facility , to salute a great driver and his family .

Sheldon led every lap but only beat Ryan Smith to the line by .021 seconds. Huge crowd, perfect weather, great racing and some good people made this event very special to honor a legend. Mark it down next year as this event should only grow!

I'm putting it on my list of things to do for next year. Sounds like a good time. On a side note, I'm sorry to see Ryan Smith leave the porch this year (as car counts are down in Posse land) but glad to see he is doing well on the road.
