Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

If he beats the Outlaws driving a CJB car I'm sure cubic & some others will claim him as posse.

If he gets his ass kicked in it then can the rest of us confirm he will be posse?

Hate to say it but it sounds like the opposite Smile

Barry Jackson wants him for the same reason Jason Johnson does. To learn a few tricks off of him.

Pittman however graduated Posse U with flying colors winning the Outlaw championship right out of the gate Smile

No matter what sprint car Sammy might strap in to, or where he runs, no way he can be claimed by the Posse! He's WoO from the beginning til he is totally done! PERIOD

The only way anyone can be concidered posse is if they race only in pa. and venture out of the state no more than 6 times a year. Other words they stay on the porch...........................Lol...........period.

Sorry, but Sammy is a Memphis boy.   To date, two different Memphis boys have claimed WoO titles.   Two Bloomington, Indiana boys have as well.   One Missouri guy, one Ohio guy, one Oklahoma guy, one California guy, and a guy from the Dakotas that seems to be unbeatable right now.   Seems like I've never seen a Pennsylvania guy win it?   Of course I may be missing someone?   Or maybe the Pennsylvania guys are just a bunch of posses?     Seems like the last posse guy that tried it couldn't cut it and is now with the All Stars.    I would add that the leading posse guy that someone mentioned in one of the above posts is really just a Memphis boy himself.     I see very little reason to be impressed with anything out of Pennsylvania other than the Steelers maybe.   Certainly nothing on a racetrack anyway.....

you mad? the posse protects their turf, no one ever really claimed otherwise...find the results from the last 10,20,30 or however many woo races from central pa (grove, lincoln, port) and lets see how the posse compares..

Nope, not mad just not impressed.   Not impressed with defending home turf either.    Gary Wright used to beat them when they came around to Devils Bowl.

I can laugh at myself when I've been "taken in" by something stated.....Smile....but it's been my experience that Posse fans will lay claim to any driver that they think for a moment might give the them bragging rights outside of their "porch". Pittman has been racing with the WoO since about 1998, and was in the top 10 several times over those years, yet according to (cubicdollars), he won the WoO title upon grsduation from Posse U. Sarcasm again? Help me understand Smile

Stevie Smith comes to mind..he won 68 A mains good for 9th place on the all time A main winners list. Gary Wright has 5. I doubt anyone here in posse land will loose any sleep over the fact you're not impressed. I enjoy being able to visit (on a weekly basis) any of three tracks within a 45 minute drive and watch multiple teams who are capable of winning outlaw races. Quit frankly, I'm glad most of the guys don't travel. The posse vs WoO experience in central Pa begun by the legendary Jack Gunn back in the early 70's has, from the beginning, been all about defending home turf. It's 'fans' like you who couldn't argue  against that fact and turned it into a; yea, but they can't win off the porch debate. Well boo hoo, too bad....name me one group of locals who travel to WoO shows and beat them on a consistant basis. Most of the posse drivers (and crews) have full time jobs and drive for car owners who don't have deep pockets like the WoO teams. Believe it or not, car owners do have a bit of input regarding where their drivers race. I'll enjoy watching the posse defend home turf (I am impressed) against the All Stars this weekend at the Grove and Lincoln...hope you enjoy watching all those WoO beaters you got down there in the Dust, I mean Devils Bowl.

Apparently Stevie Smith wasn't that impressed with Pennsylvania either.  Didn't he move to Oklahoma?

All kidding aside, I am extremely jealous of anyone who has good sprint car racing in their area.   Racing definetly sucks in Texas.    Sprint car racing is all but dead here unless you happen to be in love with RaceSaver, which I ain't!   If you wanna go to a really good track you pretty much have to leave the state.   When ASCS comes around, most all of the tracks run seven or eight other classes with them.  I won't even go when they do that.
