From what I've seen on Tod Quiring's facebook, it appears there's already some bad blood brewing between the NSL and Huset's.  Appears Huset's waited until late today to cancel even though it had been raining off and on all day.  Seems as if Quiring didn't like that move and has now told his travelers they can't race at the 360 show on Monday at Huset's or they forfeit tow money.  This should get interesting to see how it plays out.

If it is indeed true what the rubins pulled on waiting to cancel until said drivers had made the trip, then no wonder the outlaws etc. Put rules in place to protect their product. Todd formed the nsl for the drivers and fans and created something great from the point fund on down. All it takes is 1 promoter to pull a stunt like this to ruin it for everyone

Gotta love the internet rumor mill...... Its been stated on the NSL facebook page and from Tod that the NSL drivers have their own choice of when and where to race, so if they want to race the 360 show today they can.

Keep drinking the kool aid, I saw a text to someone directly involved and just lost all respect for NSL.

Im just going by what was posted on the seires facebook page and not some random guy on the internet, i have no dog in the fight either way so it dosent matter to me. If the NSL has a 24hr rule like most everyother series out there then so be it

I think there was a knee jerk reaction yesterday, and things started to come out that didn't look too professional for NSL. Maybe they changed their mind after thinking about it.

Aren't you getting your panties in bunch for nothing? If you lost all respect for the NLS that quick, you must have had a foot out the door before the season even started. Series, tracks and sanctions that have been around for years being complete dumb dumbs and I bet u still respect them???? Chill out watch the rain and have beer!  

ok very true on a lot of stuff but many of u are leaving out that there is word that Steve Rubin Husets owner waited to cancel till late that afternoon so that way the cars that came would throw a 360 in and race his event to make him the money, I'm guessing that Husets doesn't have to pay for the event if the show doesn't go on but Steve was trying to make the same show just the next night for himself with all the guys who had traveled, the guys can still race today just don't get the tow money Tod never said they can't race, Tod is somewhat getting stabbed in the back on this deal by the Rubin's and they have done this stuff before

Tod has it on his Facebook page to read it doesn't say that they can't race it specifically says it's there own choice to face tonight and that let's get the promoters thinking about racing not $$$$! Let's make sure we know facts before we blame the NSL I think Husets screwed alot of people yesterday by holding out just so the drivers show up, Tod wouldn't have said anything if he didn't have good evidence this happened

If some of us had to pay the fuel bill for these big rigs to travel up and down the road, we wouldnt want to tow all the way from Knoxville or farther yet to not race. Some of these teams don't have the budgets to be able to do that very often. JMO

They get tow money if they don't race tonight, and I don't blame Tod for doing it what the Rubin's try and pull over and over is ridiculous the rain no I don't blame them but if they would have called it at noon they wouldn't have had the problem but he wanted them guys to come so his Monday show would be better and keep all the money to himself, its his last year running the place he don't care

sounds like maybe todd isn't too thrilled with paying his guys to race for someone else. why should he?

if the promoter in fact lured guys in by not cancelling the show in a timely fashion, just so he might have them available to participate in his show....at no cost to him....then todd has a reason to be irritated.

just a thought....why don't the NSL guys tell the promoter they would be happy to run his event.....if he pays them the tow money. then the guys who stayed to race will get compensated for their participation in the promoters event and the guys who don't race will get paid for towing to the rain out.

No tow money was giving to any teams last night , he did it out of spite because he can, that's how Tod operates. 

Maybe no money was paid until it was determined who raced today had it not been rain out today.

Also is money usually paid out on the day of the race? Or is it paid out once a week in a direct deposit to team owners.

Thats my point, Husets shoutldn't have called them in, if no race was going to take place!! Waste of time and money for the teams.

In my opinion Tod has already proved over the last few years that he loves and backs sprint car racing. Having 2 cars out with the WoO and one in the Knoxville Area, buying Jackson, and starting the NSL. If you guys are picking sides it really seems like a no brainer to me. But I'm just a fan.

I live 50 miles east of Husets and it was raining/ drizzle all day here. Well that all comes from the west and was surprised to read mid afternoon the races were a go ? Bad call by someone ..

Agreed no tow money was given and it is direct deposited, money was not given to see who raced tonight! Tod loves this stuff, if Rubins loved it they wouldn't sell the track and they would do what Tod's doing u don't support and get where Tod is by doing bad business, show me where he has operated like this before the guy is putting millions of dollars into sprint car racing and has done it for years I think he knows what he's doing
