This would be unlikely I guess but they have a history together and Jac has expericence (alebeit past his prime) any chance these two hook up for awhile?

Any driver in their right mind should run in the other direction if they are approached or called for this ride.
It's obvious any driver no matter how good they are that's been in this ride had one foot out the door before they even put their seat in it.

Luna's was the penalty box for 10 months. Roth is going on 10 years. Until they put some premium Chinese stuff together, they will continue to be humiliated. They use a different colored valve cover sometimes as well. Anyone knows using anything somewhat unique under the hood is sure disaster.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint

Out of pure curiosity, in detail, tell me what I would need to do to win an outlaw championship with a Ford engine package.
How many engines, cost per engine, length between rebuilds, cost of rebuild (basic rebuild and catistrophic rebuild), cost of switching accessories (motorplates, u-joints, driveshafts, legnth of driveshafts for 39" 40" 40 1/2" and 41" cars), engine HP and torque (aproximate, I would hate to give any secrets away), also the cost of 2-3 knoxville and eldora engines with minimum 975HP and 725TQ numbers that run and will win the kings royal and knoxville nationals.
Realistically this is going to take 2-3 years to get the bugs worked out so ammortize costs for 3 years of operation.
If you can do this for me, I have no problem providing the cars, equipment, driver, crew chief, and crew to do so. Furthermore Ill split my share of the points championship fund with you every year that the team wins the WoO championship; on top of that ill give you $1 for every t-shirt sold with a Ford logo on it.
Of course if this venture fails you will need to re-emburse every penny spent on making these ovals go in circles, hell I wont even charge interest, just even money back.
Are you in?

Wasn't it just a few years back thar Jason Johnson and Randy Martin ran fords? Was't that when Roush or Yates was building them? Must not have worked very well. They did not set the world on fire and then those guys stopped making them. If Roush/ Yates can't make a good sprint car motor out of a ford then who could?

Ford 360 was damn near unbeatable. They showed little interest in 410's.

I would also like to see Haud get good shot at a ride in the next few years.
For how much mindless talks about how dominate the fords are I figured the few questions that I asked would be common knowledge or at least easy to get answers for him/her.

You'd have to ask Casey Luna........ the only guy that ever tried.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Eh, didn't Jeff Swindell have Ford's under the hood while driving the 7TW car after Luna retired from car ownership?
Seems to me that they had a lot of trouble keeping the Fords together and ended up running Bow Ties a lot that year so that they could keep racing while the Fords were being worked on.

Running chevs most of the time while accepting funding from Ford doesn't count.

That's because the Ford ASCS head had a huge advantage over the original Chev ASCS head. Then ASCS allowed the Chev head to catch up and negated that advantage. Rousch/Yates thought they could jump in and make a bunch of money. All they did was cost every ASCS racer a bunch of money.

Ronnie Shaver's won multiple WoO titles, multiple Kings Royals, Syracuse and broke track records from coast to coast. Does that qualify as "good"?

No worries. Anyone who raced ASCS knows exactly what happened.

Come on now, call a spade a spade. The only thing we will call MoOpenwheel is honest, there was for sure an advantage in the ASCS Ford head. Now after 2 rule changes and tens of thousands of dollars spent by everyone else, they should be pretty close... that is if you can find them anymore. Hats off to the MOSS guys for keeping the dream alive, but writing on the wall is getting smaller and smaller.

Got news for you, it wasn't unbeatable. I saw JJ get outmotored at Devils Bowl on several occasions when he was running the Ford. He won one feature at the Bowl right after he started running them. He was easily beatable after that. Seems like my first Knoxville 360 Nationals was spent watching Shane Stewart battle with JJ up at the front, meaning Stewart was at the front and JJ was struggling to keep from getting lapped! Yeah, they were unbeatable....
