Gene Frankart should be ashamed on how his people officiated last night. They were playing crowd favorites again. Tim Allison banging wheels on the start with pole setter Devin Dobie, Didnt do anything about that, then Allison jumped the start..........Officials didnt call that back. took off before the stripe on the second restart. They didnt call that back. Chopped off Randy Hannagan on the restart going into turn three. Rough driving they dont do anything about that. Allison driving like an idiot again, or Should i say still. The first night at limaland they called back three starts if i am correct and one restart. No consitancy at this place. They need to do something about rough driving in my opinion, and quit playing favorites. GENE GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR REAR AND DO THE RIGHT THING AND BE CONSISTANT ON CALLS.

i have never seen a rough driving call in sprint car racing. There is also a chance the crooked officials weren't looking at the same cars you were.

If we are going to talk about Limaland playing favorites where in the first two rows of the heats did the 6 cars start?

Allison ran out of talent a long time ago. Sounds like he needs to go out of the ball park

Gene Frankart does track prep only.  You should know your facts before you start running your mouth on social media. Bob fricke and his people run the race.

ryan racing you need to check your facts............. Bob Frickie does'nt even work at the track this year.......dumb a$$. And parisisland is correct in my opinion, Allison ran out out of the little talent he had, he did'nt have much talent to begin with that's why they called him mr excitement because he crashed all the time lmao.

BTW new director, new flagman now all they need is a new announcer & 1 with some knowledge of who the drivers are. Paint jobs could be different as night & day but if it's got the same # he don't have a clue.

I can not speak for everyone at Lima, however I will be more than willing to speak for myself.  My name is Jeremy and I am the flagman at Limaland this season.  The start of the feature this past week (1May) was clean.  I have watched both videos on youtube and there wasn't any contact between the cars.  I watched both front row drivers "play" with each other for two laps.  At the start, the pole setter was on the bottom on a freshly groomed track and spun his tires, but he did fire first.  I am human and I have made and will continue to make mistakes.  And when there is twenty cars on the track I cant keep my eye on all of them.  I try to preventy mistakes as much as I can, but I will own up to them when I do.  I will always be fair to all competitors because I want them to support the track.

Jeremy let me ask you this. What is the white chalk line on the track for....decoration. Better look at the video again because if you cant tell the Allison took off first and before the chalk mark you dont need to be a flagman. nuff said............

Downforcedude - Limaland will be waiting for your job application. Please sign up and see how you do.

I don't have a dog in this fight but a man signs his name to his post and puts his points of view of his version of what he saw and you bash'em. I have much more respect for him manning up to provide his point of view.

Wow downforcedude, being a little harsh aren't you.

In my 35+ years of attending racing, I can probably count on my hands how many times the cars were "at the white line" before they started the race.

Most tracks the rule is the front row must be side x side when they cross the line, If one is on hte gas but spins their tires, that's part of racing (just like if one would get sideways when they get on the loudpedal).

If you think it's easy, sign up to flag even a class like hobby stocks (things look a lot different when you are down there and not in the stands).  I know from experience that it's a lot different sitting in the drivers seat of one and comparing it to what you see in the stands.

Same goes for when the yellow flag is thrown.  Numerous times I have heard people complain that  a yellow should have come out sooner (but if you go to the flagman's vantage point, they oftentimes can't even see the section of the track where a car will slow down to a stop (they rely on spotters to radio to them that someone has stopped).

The white line is a reference mark.  Do I like using a solid line?  No.  But it is currently what is being used.  If every race had to start exactly on the line, we would still be running last weeks events.  Like I said, both front row cars were "playing games" trying to get an edge.  The outside car was trying to set the pace.  If the inside car would have laid back the outside car would have been called for jumping.  But he didnt.  He throttled up to try to gain control and in just kept going.  They were side by side at the exit of 4.  The inside car did fire first (we will disagree on opinions here and that's OK). But because he did not launch off of corner like the outside front row car, it looks like the outside car jumped.  I know I will not please everyone with my decisions. I feel you are one that we won't see eye to eye.

It sounds to me like your doing just fine Jeremy. I'm going to guess that this guy is the type that constantly finds something to complain about unless his guy wins or the guy he dislikes loses. Its just like being an umpire in baseball, its a human call and you make the call  the best you can, of course the batting team thinks every pitch is a ball and the pitcher thinks everyone is a strike.

One thing I know some flagmen do to start the race is call Green, Green, Green over the raceceiver. No white line, they just say green over the radio in the corner when they choose when the cars are in turn 4, that way the drivers don't know exactly when in turn 4 you'll call it, unlike a line that they know exactly where it is and can try to jump a little.
