I was wondering the same thing. Besides Brady Bacon, maybe Clauson? I had heard maybe Tracy Hines had run a wing car, maybe him too? Can't wait for those two nights....first time ever for a WoO/USAC doubleheader!

Tracy Hines putting a wing on at Fremont Saturday night....Safe to say no Outlaw driver will take the wing off..lol..Never thought I would see a show like this with the speed of the Outlaws and the elbows up of USAC!!  I would expect 30+ cars in both fields....

I kinda wish Fremont was not having their BOSS show on saturday. I would think some of those guys may have tried their hand at the USAC show but in the long run i think both fields will be good either way. Hopefully more shows like this will come around. I think both types of racing can co-exist especially in the Ohio region. There have been a number of BOSS/All Star shows, Wingless/NRA 360 shows in our region that have been successful as far as crowd turnout. The two biggest series in each form of racing in the same nights at Eldora should be awesome.

Why would any outlaw driver want to take the wing off and run for half the money! USAC purse is roughly half of a Woo purse.

Last few years the 4 Crown Nats have been WoO's Fri. Night 4 Crown Nats Sat. Night. This isn't the first Time the Two have run together.

May 8-9 is a different format.  Both sanctions will run both nights, not one the first night and one the second night.

Correct. Baseline 2 day show A Main purse for Outlaws is $44,500 per night. USAC A Main purse is $21,450.

Pays as much for 16th at Outlaw show as it does for 5th in USAC show. ($900)

Would drivers on the WoO Tour even be ALLOWED?

Beer time 1 2 many times. They have never ran the same night.

Some things just should have been thought of sooner.

Hell they couldn't even go by an alias, imagine if 1 did & they won.

What am I missing here man? I meant on the same card on the same night. Friday 4 crown is WoO and mods, which run under the UMP sanction. So like I said, next Fri and Sat is the first time on the same card on the same night.

Very few outlaws would be competitive w/o wing.

Haud won the Mopar Million and Stevie Smith in his first ever non wing race at Eldora finished 2nd(138 cars)...Steve Kinser showed up at Eldora took the wing off and beat the USAC/CRA for 10,000 back in the 80s... I asked Steve Kinser about running without the wing during a Q and A at Knoxville and he said it hurts a lot more when you get upside down without a wing on top....  It would be awesome to see Saldana and Darland swap rides for the night...lol...Brady Bacon is today's Jesse Hockett in my opinion....

Big fan of Bacon but, I believe Bryan Clauson deserves to be in that comment as much as Bacon.

To be a badass that's why. I love to see a driver race against the best because he wants to beat the best---not necessarily for the money.

Most of the Outlaws wouldn't run without a wing no matter how much it pays and they proved it by not showing up for the Mopar Million. I don't know about you,  but I don't go to races to see the purse, I go to see racing. The Stevie Smith thing was 10 years ago. The USAC guys clean house everywhere they go, now.  Should be a great two days for all that are going. There was one time when USAC and WoO shared the bill on the same day at the Springfield Mile in '82, however, the USAC portion was for Champ Dirt cars.
