Heats & qualifiers not so great, but A&B mains were excellent. The King out dueled young Logan Schuhart in B, Da Dude chased down Blaney & passed on last lap in Final... awright!
Interesting place.... haven't been in deep desert like this since my family drove from L.A. to Grand Canyon in 1962. Really crazy looking jagged mountains out in the distance (nothing like Colorado) Jet fighters overhead (Actually drowned out sprint cars!)

Good crowds this weekend, pretty full.

Sorry to say it, but Saturday was pretty much of a snoozer. No passing for the lead until A-Main, when Dollansky briefly passed Reutzel, who then returned the favor. Gravel made a good run, tho, passed 2 on last lap.
Good event, tho, hope it continues to succeed. Wish I could have seen first Saturday!
