The AP is reporting that Tyler Walker was expected to take a plea deal yesterday in court.  I can't find a link to see if this case actually settled.  Anyone got a link?

Tyler did not take the plea deal. His attorney ask for more time to resolve case. Just google Tyler Walker plea deal.

Sounds like a good guy.  We should give him another couple of chances.

I just hope I get the same amount of time to 'negotiate' when I go on a crime spree and get arrested.

anything more childish than a 40 year old addict relying on daddy to bail him out of bad decisions?

one more chance - sure...it will be different this time.

What exactly is a "dufas"? I've heard of a dufus, and seen many before, but not a dufas..................................

Boy Mike, your vocabulary just gets better the older you get doesn't it, wow! {sacasm...you still understand what that means right Mike?} "teenage dufas" really Mike? Can't come up with anything better than that at your age, sad. Sad Indeed! Your supposed to be Mike Nelligan....The great brilliant Mr. Nelligan right? I always thought people got smarter with age, but you are truly starting to make me wonder. Word of advice Mike, offer your congrats to Ryan Smith and that team on their incredible effort, and offer your congrats to the fatso on another loss in Pennsylvania. Then shut your mouth, go home and ohh of couse Mike.......Take it Easy.

Apologize on the spelling. Dufus is not a word i use a whole lot so please forgive me such an inconceivable crime. Unlike Mike Nelligan I have a somewhat decent vocabulary, I would hope so at least. Nonetheless the spelling of the word is far from the point of the post. I think even Nelligan could probably even understand that much. I don't know, hard to tell. Anyway....Take it Easy

Wow, ok back to the topic, I could care less about how good Tyler's lawyer is, or any of his personal life for that matter, If he can stay clean I'd love to see him back in a Sprint car, always fun to watch, on and off the track.

and just when you were getting lulled to sleep with the everyday posse/outlaw,  bashing this, bashing that, threads, here comes a good ol' TDub thread that kinda' wraps them all up into one nice neat little thread

Good point wolfie2985. This thread does indeed seems to have something for everyone! Saddest part of this thread though is that it is about someone who IMHO wasted a truly great talent. Once drugs get a hold they become the ONLY thing that's important to the taker & everything else that is TRULY important goes out the window.

wolfie - I had no idea of the power of a TDub thread to get people riled up.

I wish Tyler would go away.  Always put on a good show and was friendly to me the few times I talked to him after the races, however I hate it when he is in the news because he is a former race car driver.  I guess at least they tie him to NASCAR instead of sprint car racing.

All sprint car drivers besides Walker are fueled by adrenalin and a love for the sport. There is no hipocrasy in sprint car fans, who cheer out of one side of their mouths for drivers who haven't gotten busted yet and hate on those who have. None at all. I could put a hell of a main event out there with a bunch of drivers who partook. Some are even enshrined in Knoxville, IA.

I believe a Dufus is a wart on a elephants ass , oops that might be the definition for a dude. Hehehe

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.
