Three Day Modified Sooner State Showdown at Salina High Banks This Weekend!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – October 21, 2014 - This coming weekend the biggest names in modified racing will descend upon the Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma for the 2nd annual “Sooner State Showdown” with a possible $10,000 to win beginning Thursday – Saturday night, October 23-25.

Thursday night’s event will pay $1500 to win with drivers making the feature finale earning $200. Friday night’s event will pay $2000 to the feature winner and also pay $200 to win. On championship Saturday night billed as the David Grigg Memorial, the championship feature winner will take home $2500 while others making the final feature earning $200.

But wait, there is more:

Any driver who can win two out of the three feature finales will take home a $1000 bonus and any drivers who can sweep all three night’s will bank an extra $4000 bonus and earning a total of $10,000 for his efforts.

There is a $100 entry fee each night and does include pit pass for each of those nights. USRA and NCRA modified rules apply.

Several of the top drivers in the region are expected to compete including Terry Phillips, Ryan Gustin, Rodney Sanders, Thomas Tillison, Jr., John Allen, Johnny Bone, Jr., Jason Hughes and a host of others. Over fifty drivers are expected throughout the three day event including a strong contingent of track regulars.

A three day general admission pass is available for $35 and a two day general admission pass is just 25. Start times on Thursday and Friday night is 7:30 PM while start time on championship Saturday night is 6:30 PM.
