How many Lincoln cars are going to show for this ,with at least three of the top Port cars done for now they will need some other support to help fill the field. Definitely nobody from Ohio with the Renegade show paying more.
Weather looks good so far hope they have a good night ,to keep them coming back.

I would not expect to see many Lincoln regulars other then DD and Marks, who basically is a Lincoln part-timer anyway. Funny how all of a sudden Port fans seem to want Lincoln cars to fill the field, when Lincoln regulars are accused of being "porch sitters" and not worthy of running the Speed Palace...JMO

Funny I am not a Port regular been to 62 races this year and only 7 at Port just like to see a good show ,i actually would have gone to the Renegade show in Ohio if it was just a one day show.
I know most of the Lincoln cars dont like the big tracks as Austin Hogue said on Sprintcar unlimited but i hope that maybe Wilson,Bower,Moody,Deitrich, and maybe someone else that still wants to race.
Marks ran just about as many races at Port as Lincoln.

Given 17th-24th at an Outlaw show pays what 5th or 6th pays at a local show, I would assume they would have no issue finding cars. PA always supports the Outlaw shows well.

Where did you read or hear that Port fans want Lincoln cars to fill the field? Who said that Lincoln cars are not worthy of running the speed palace? I have never read or heard either of those things. It sounds like you like to create drama out of nothing...JMO, but hey keep it up and Im sure some idiot on here will play along in your Lincoln vs. Port BS game, have fun.
I hope every 410 in Pa shows up and I dont give a shit what track they race at on Saturday night.

There are many who consider drivers who don't run Port- part time drivers. Like the comment about the Premier team not running the WoO show, calling them part timers, like Brian responded if running 65 races is part time, yep we are. It seems on the blogs that cars that dont run the horsepower tracks are porch sitters. I hope Port does well with their show, I actually like Port but the 2 hr drive is nuts when Lincoln is 20 min from home.

I am selling a few tickets to the race. I am now going to the Penn State game instead and have 4 or 5 i would like to sell. Bought them as they came out so fairly high up and good seats.

What 3 top Port teams are done? Other than Layton. I would think there will be at least 35 cars with the great weather forecast. Seems funny that some teams don't like the horsepower tracks yet they run at Williams Grove which has the longest straights of any track. Hmmm, I'm guesing what they really don't like about the 2 tracks up north is the corner speeds. Oh well, their car, their choice.

I think Heimbach will be there. What big Posse guys are going to be there? Hodnett, Dietrich, Dewease..?
Hopefully this show is mid-season next year.

I believe this show is a test trial to see about fan support and how well the show is ran. If successfull I feel it would be right in the mix with the lincoln and grove show. I would say Marks would be there as well. So really only 4 top heavy hitters. Besides Ports low ended/budget team

As far as how the show is run. It will be run by the Outlaws the same as any other Outlaw show. Fans are often critical of tracks when the Outlaws or All Stars are there when most of the shots are called by the sactioning body. As for car count I never did think more than the top few teams from Lincoln would show as it would be for Port cars if the show were at Lincoln. I don't like to be critical of race teams before I see what really happens but from what I see in this thread it should have been a point show.

This show is going not going to produce a good indicator of how well an outlaw show will do at Port. One thing, the 8:00 start time for the PS home game. It is also late in the season and some teams have reached their budget limit. Yes, this race was on the schedule and could have been planned for, but all tracks see a decline in car count late in the season. It's kids sports time, football season for college & pros, hunting. Race teams are allowed to have lives outside of racing. It's good the outlaws are coming, it will at least give them a good look at the track, facilities, planned improvements, etc. Looking at the reserved seating that is still left......not so much for fan turn out. Late in the season, cold, .... hope they do plan on it again only earlier.

Lafferty said on Winged Nation he is done for the year,Wagner is injured,Esh #8h is parked for the year or longer and Layton has no ride. Saw on the Grove board no Stevie Smith since he had a limited schedule, ran 360 in Texas last week might do the same this week.
Looks more like 30 may be hard to reach the last show they had 20 Tyler Bear and Logan Wagner ran 305 that night they could be there. Todd Allen was one of the 20 will Bobby have 3 cars?
13 Outlaws plus maybe Stewart then the locals.

Looks like Deitrich and Ryan Wilson with possability of Adrian Schaffer. Ryan Smith,Barger and Buckwalter ran New York with the Outlaws so 35 is looking better. Was thinking about a change to the Renegades but now Port is looking better.

Ok, so your answer is nobody said they want lincoln cars to be field fillers, and no one said that lincoln drivers are not worthy of running the speed palace. That's what I thought. My guess as to why some lincoln drivers don't run horsepower tracks is because they don't have the horsepower, and there is nothing wrong with that, it's very expensive. I'm sure Billy Dietrich or Jim Seigle and others. would like to run other tracks but might not have the motor to be competative. Loan them an outlaw caliber 410 and I'm sure they would be there.

Heimbach will be there the last I saw. Hope the crowd is good, but it's going to have a lot of competition.
