10th Annual Short Track Nationals Trade Show & Midway: Spaces Now Available!

Little Rock AR (9/10/14) by DarinShort.com. The 10th annual Short Track Nationals (STN) Trade Show & Midway October 22-25th is a great way to kick off the 2015 buying season, and vendor space requests are now being accepted.

This event is a part of the 27th annual $15,000 to win COMP Cams® Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR.

Online STN vendor registration is now available at: http://www.darinshort.com/STN.html and if you have further STN Trade Show/Midway questions, contact Darin at [email protected] at your convenience.

The deadline for guaranteed space in the show is Monday, October 20th (of race week). Set up for guaranteed space is from 9AM-Noon on Wednesday, October 22rd (prior to the pits officially opening).

As in 2013, the STN Trade Show and Midway has been expanded one day due to the addition of the Short Track Nationals Open, which precedes the traditional three nights of the STN.

With this added event on Wednesday October 22nd, STN vendors are given a great opportunity to be in front of the race teams and fans for one extra day...at no added cost.

Several returning vendors have already confirmed their space, including: Kear's Speed Shop, Lightning Wings, Competition Suspension Inc. and BA Racing Gear. A complete list will be provided as the event draws nearer.

Booth space is very affordable and includes (2) four-day pit/grandstand passes to the event, valued at $210. All vendor spaces must be paid in full prior to being allowed to stage their display in the Trade Show/Midway area on set up day.

For more STN event info, including driver entry forms, http://www.i-30speedway.com is your source.

The STN Trade Show & Midway hours are: Wednesday – opens at Noon. Thursday, Friday & Saturday – opens at 9AM.

We look forward to seeing everyone for another fun and action packed weekend, when the 27th Annual $15,000+ to win COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires is held October 22-25, at I-30 Speedway…Where Action Is the Attraction!

Clearly, you just don't get it.

We have vendors and manufactures that travel 800 plus miles, one way, to be there to support the race teams competing at the event.

When the drivers crash; the STN vendors have parts, chassis, rear ends, wings; you name it.

Many MANY teams have wadded up cars at the STN in the past and if weren't for the STN vendor support on site, they would have been done for the weekend.

Drivers have shocks, the STN vendors fine tune them to get them optimum performance.

And if you still don't get it, why don't you get on the phone and call Shirley Kear, who has been supporting the sprint car racing industry at events across the country for 40 plus years and ask her why 'she's taking up space at the STN' an see what she tells you. I'm sure she'll be more than happy to enlighten you further.

Clearly "No 2 sprints" isn't a true fan.   I wonder if he's even ever bought a t-shirt?

The Short Track Nationals is on the must do every year list to hundreds of folks - and I for one am always glad to see Shirley Kears again.  She is a legend.  Also I enjoyed the BBQ from the guys from Memphis last year (another vendor).   I missed the old guy with the shirts and the model cars last year.  I hope he's okay. I don't know his name but we always visited.  The vendors are part of the atmosphere of one of the best races of the year at a track that is great for sprint car racing.   Now if we could just make it a little warmer it would be perfect.

Looking forward to seeing all of the real fans again this year.

Oh yes - in the old days - I have driven past a World of Outlaws race to get to the Short Track Nationals.  The WoO learned not to butt heads with the STN's.  Smart move.

And now I'm off of my soap box.   Good night.

Actually the World of Outlaws are running at Port Royale on Sat. night Oct. 25th. And the new Renegade Series has a 3 day show at Atomic Speedway in Ohio Paying 15k to win, 1000 to start. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Oct. 23rd, 24th, and 25th.

You got me carol14!!!!! This will be my 12th STN.

BTW, Short has nothing to do with Shirley attending. Ask her.

I must have forgot, shame on me for posting an opinion.

The show at atomic is 3 nights with only one night paying any money. The short track nationals is 4 night with money paid each night. The finale being $15k to win and $2500 to start . No comparison. The show at atomic is just another flash in the pan. The short track nationals is 27 yrs strong.

The he outlaws being in the northeast will have no affect on the STN or it's vendors

305's are the herpes of sprint cars

I would think that these races will have to affect your race Cajun1. No hopes of Sides or the KKR cars that have been there in the past, no Kraig Kinser, apparantly no Sammy either. I know several Ohio cars that normally make the tow down will not be there this year due to the Atomic race. Heck you might even get a different winner with Sammy retiring! I'm sure your STN's will be just fine with less name drivers this year. One Eight or JJ could have a legit shot at winning this year! Enjoy your race Cajun1, and I'll enjoy my "flash in the pan" Atomic race!
