Just saw where Jack Hewitt will be coming out of retirement to run the USAC Silver Crown portion of the 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora September 20. Should be interesting to see how he does!

That and it's been covered on a few sites around the web.

Jack announced it at his race (Jack Hewitt Classic) at Waynesfield, Ohio a few weeks ago. I love Jack Hewitt - we all do. Absolutely one of the nicest, funniest guys you'll ever meet. Just hope he can stay safe. He does wheel his two-seater around Waynesfield pretty good! Good luck Jack - you gave me my greatest racing memory...seeing you win all four features of the 4-Crown at Eldora! Everytime I see you at the races, I smile!

Sadly I can't be there but just seeing the only driver to ever win all 4 events on the same day would be worth the price of admission alone. I hope for those of us that can't attend, someone will film it so we can all enjoy seeing "Do It" Hewitt at the wheel of a Silver Crown car again. Have a good race & I know you'll have a great time Jack.
