Going to the USCS race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday, August 29th. Is there anything unique going on that I should check out. Does anyone know where the pits will be since it is also a NASCAR weekend?

Last year we pitted in the Media Center parking area. I assume it will be the same this year, but not 100% sure. We will run qualifying during the daytime, and then run the 50 lap feature after the Cup qualifying is over. It was a very good race last year.

I'll be there but I don't fly in till 11am, need to go to apartment, make sure there are no chickens or squaters living in it, get Jeep that has been in garage for 2 months (hopefully it starts), run a couple of errands and will then be on my way. Because of all that, I'll probably miss practice and if so, will get there sometime late afternoon/early evening, I'll come look for you.

Jim, good race Friday night at AMS, especially there at the end with just a few laps to go when Gray and Miller got into lap traffic. It was neat to hear the NASCAR drivers (Kyle, Ricky, Carl and not sure who else) talking on stage so much about sprintcars while the USCS cars were pushed onto the front stretch prior your race. That's good for the NASCAR crowd to hear that.
