Per IBRACN and twitter Dustin is finished in the 7K. Disappointing to hear with one race to go at Knoxville. Hope he finds a ride for next season.
It'll be interesting to see who hops in that car. I'd like to see Ryan Bunton get a shot as he's shown steady improvement over the past few years and as most know, put it in the A main Saturday night of the Nationals on a low budget and I think, a 15 year old motor.

Best thing that could have happened to Selvage. I would think he will be back in his own car next year.
The 7k is a penalty box. Ryan Bunton is faster and has better equipment than they do. I would suggest he keeps on keeping on.

A 15 year old motor. Ha. Explain whats 15 years old on that thing? Header bolts.? Doubt that, he had a good run no doubt. 1 good lap, qualify for feature & finish decent in feature will do that for you. Track helped a lot this year. Hammer down most nights. Still have to strap in & do it though. On a 15 year old bullet I hear as well.

Selvage is better off in is own stuff. Just as good of equipment If not better than 7k. Only decent thin him running that 7k deal is that the rest of his stuff will be fresh.

The motor he qualified with wasn't 15 years old, it was a newer Rider engine, and broke a rocker arm, they put a -12 motor in for the feature qualifying night, and from what i hear they found a rocker arm to put on for saturdays A main on the newer motor, but 15 laps or so in sounded like it may have let go ago. As far as how old the -12 motor was I don't know for sure, but being a -12 im sure it was quiet a few years old!

your right, saturday it looked as tho it broke much more than just a rocker arm, it looked like it was burning oil out the left side header? which brings up a good question, in his position does a guy run his backup.. like the -12 motor (down many ponies) but, very dependable, or run a up to date mill that may be hurt? regardless it was a intresting story to follow, and proubly the largest surprize of the nationals, any team can make it in, things just need to fall in place. glad he got the chance and I enjoyed following his story.
