Southern Oklahoma Speedway Set to Host Texas Outlaw Modifieds Saturday Night!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – July 29, 2014 - Southern Oklahoma Speedway will host the Texas Outlaw Modified Series this coming Saturday night, August 2, in the series first ever appearance at the Ardmore, Oklahoma three-eighths mile clay oval. Along with a full program of dirt track racing action, fans will have an opportunity to get “up close and personal” with the top ten drivers in the series point standings.

Among the drivers expected to compete are current point leader Clyde Dunn, Jr. as well as touring regulars Wesley Veal, Bobby Malchus, Kyle Sweeney, Kevin Sustaire, Colby Smith, Cody Smith, Josh Landers, Triston Dycus and Charlie Smith.

Drivers representing S.O.S. include track point leader Cam Case, Travis Penrod, Mike Dillard, Chris Corntassell, Buddy Honaker, Britton Weger, Harold Winton, Jr. and Sr., Mitchell Clement and Marc Beltz.

All drivers as well as several invaders from the Texas/Oklahoma area are expected to compete with over thirty cars expected.

Race fans are encouraged to get too the track early as the top ten in T.O.M.S. point standings will have drivers cards available during an autograph session and touring shirts will also be available for purchase. This session will be held prior to the racing activities at 5:00 PM.

The tracks weekly divisions of limited modified, limited late model, stock car hobby stocks will also be competing.    

Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:30 PM start time. Grandstand tickets are as follows:  Ages 6-12 and senior citizens $15; adults ages 13 and up $20. All pit passes are just $30.
